You hear the screaming of the marines saying to run and you sigh. 'Aren't you being a bit too mean, Law? Personally, I would just knock them all out and leave them in the col- oh wait that's meaner...'
And yes, you totally lied about following Nami's group because you decided that you wanted to watch Law's fight with Smoker for a bit longer. Never will you ever miss the change to see Smoker and Tashigi switched bodies. Getting mentally prepared to laugh your ass off.
While watching the fight, you realize how both Smoker and Law are getting tired pretty quickly. You sat on the snow, just right outside of Laws barrier and on top of the lab building, tapping your fingers against the snow and humming. Seeing Law smirk and shout Scapel, you understand immediately that the fight is almost over.
'Of course Law would win, nothing would change obviously.' You mentally scolded yourself for worrying. When Law got rid of the film, you hopped down, not before making sure no marine could see you.
"Not too shabby! I guess you really have gotten better huh?" you gave a cocky grin and side eyed him. He clicked his tongue in annoyance, and before he could reply, a voice is heard from the distance.
"HEY!! HEY! ITS YOU! DO YOU REMEMBER ME?!?" Luffy shouts in the distance, "THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP THE OTHER DAY!!" Law turns his head and squints a bit.
"Mugiwara-ya."
(a/n: just a little thing here, i'm gonna write "Mugiwara-ya" instead of "Straw Hat-ya" cuz it just sounds better 😓)
As Luffy runs towards Law, you notice Laws eyebrows furrowing a bit and you snicker. "Oh!! I didn't know you were here too (y/n)!! Where'd you go this entire time??"
You smile, "Oh I've just been wandering here and there... nothing much." Law whispers to the side, 'nothing much my ass...' An irk mark appeared on your face and you placed your hand in his shoulder, "Hah?! What'd you say??" "Nothing." "Pshh well screw you too."
As Law and Luffy continued conversing, or more like Luffy guy just spouting out a bunch of stuff, you all hear loud footsteps. After noticing it was the navy, Ussop yells out for Luffy and tells him they gotta run.
When Tashigi slumps down and spots that there's a hole on Smokers chest, where his heart should've been, she loses her mind and runs straight at Law with her sword in hand.
"Woah woah, don't. I don't like these lame tearjerking scenes." Law speaks, and you help but laugh at his comment in the middle of being attacked.
Before you could even blink, Law switched the hearts/souls of Tashigi and Smoker. You hummed, probably gonna wait to break Law, Luffy, Smoker, and Tashigi out later. Law tells Luffy to go to the back of the laboratory, saying that what he needs will be there.
And off goes the Straw Hats. "(y/n), if you're going to follow me, don't get caught." Law suddenly speaks out, when walking back inside the lab.
"Hmm? who do you think I am? There's no way some lame ass whiff of fart could find me," you frowned, not liking how he expected you to get caught. He ignored it, and continued walking down the hall. Huffing, you followed along, not making a single sound with each step you took.
