"Awww. So you've heard about me." Damon grins. It shows off his fangs. "Can't say the same about you. Mate."

"Oh, I sincerely doubt that."

Stefan chooses that moment to stand. He saunters over to the two of them and throws an arm over his friend's shoulder. There is no mistaking the glee in his eyes. "Damon," he says. "Might I introduce an old friend of mine? His name is Klaus."

Klaus makes his way to Mystic Falls early, and for far less sinister reasons ... or, I drop Klaus into season one and watch the chaos unfold.
