A group of college students were at a house party where everyone had fun either inside or outside. Everyone seemed to be getting along and fitting in with the groups. Meanwhile someone wasn't enjoying themselves since they were outside busy dealing with someone on the phone
"I-I asked if you wanted to come" Shai said
"Yeah but you know how those college parties are. They're just wild people who enjoy doing drugs or spike people's drinks" Hinria said
"We have some responsible friends. Kang and his buddies are looking out for anyone who's causing trouble. You should've joined" Shai said
"Those parties aren't my thing...and they shouldn't be your thing either. Why did you go? I don't think you're the type to be at parties" Hinria said
"It's because of Yuzu..." Shai said
"And do you always follow your cousin? Can't you make your own decisions?" Hinria asked
"It's not like she forced me. I wanted to come either way. Our other friends are here" Shai said
"Whatever then. You have fun over there while I do my work here" Hinria said
"Wh-what's wro-mgh!" Shai groaned as her head throbbed a bit
"Hm? What happened?" Hinria asked
"Let's end things then. If you're tired of me then I'm tired of you. All we ever do is argue so why should we stay together?" Shai asked
"If that's how you feel then fine by me. Let's see who'll want to be with someone like you" Hinria said ending the call. Shai gasped as she snapped back to reality and trembled
"Hello? Hinria?" Shai asked and looked at her phone
"Why did you do that?" Shai mumbled
"Because it's about damn time you quit being with her and had to end things for you. You're always fighting over and over that it's starting to piss me off" The voice in her head said
"I was going to fix things..." Shai said
"I bet you're dating her to make her feel better since you knew she always liked you and you couldn't reject her" She said
"Go away...I'll have to deal with her later..." Shai said
"Hmph...whatever you say" She said before leaving. Shai rubbed her head letting out a deep sigh
"Why are you sighing so much?" Someone asked as they approached her. Shai flinched and looked to the side seeing the smaller woman
"Ah Himeko-chan...hey" Shai said and Himeko held out a cup
"It's just juice" Himeko said
"Oh thanks. So what are you doing here?" Shai asked taking the cup
"I wanted some fresh air and get away from the loud noises" Himeko said
"I thought you'd stick close with Mei" Shai said
"Actually Mei is playing with Yuzu on the switch with the others. She's surprisingly doing well. I didn't know Mei could play those sorts of games. Hopefully nothing happens to her if I leave. I'll blame it on Yuzu is she gets hurt in some way" Himeko said
"Oh I see..." Shai said
"What about you? You don't seem like you're having fun" Himeko said
"Kinda had an argument with my girlfriend" Shai said looking away
"This isn't the first time it's happened?" Himeko asked
"No and I don't know how to deal with her or fix things with her. I don't get what's wrong with her. I've been trying my best to keep her happy while also dealing with my personal issues. It's too much for me to handle" Shai said
"Then end it. If it's too much and nothing is getting better then ending it is a good option" Himeko said
"Ah you think so too..." Shai said
"If only one person is putting an effort in a relationship then it definitely won't work out. You're only exhausting yourself" Himeko said
"Yeah...I guess it's better to end things between us" Shai said

"How did you two even get together?" Himeko asked
"Uhm...well...it kinda just happened? I don't even know. Suddenly she asked me and I kinda went along with it. I thought it would be fun until things started getting bad" Shai said
"I guess that's why she didn't come here with you?" Himeko asked
"She didn't seem to like the idea of it even though I told her I was going to hang out with my friends. I mean she's met you, Mei, and Harumin. I don't know what's wrong with her" Shai said
"...can I be honest with you about something?" Himeko asked
"What?" Shai asked
"I always felt like she never liked me" Himeko said
"Eh?" Shai asked
"I don't know if you've realized or noticed that your girlfriend really doesn't like my presence. Everytime I show up she always gives me this look. I'm not telling you to pick a side or anything just wanted to let you know about that. I really don't understand what I did to make her hate me" Himeko said
"I never really noticed that before. Has she done anything to you?" Shai asked
"No but whenever it was just us she tried her best to act nice. She's horrible at pretending though..." Himeko said
"Uhm let's go inside and find out friends" Shai said
"Sure. Let's see Yuzu and Mei play" Himeko said. The two girls stepped inside to join their other friends who seemed to have a good time.
