Chapter 2

It had been 2 days. 2 days since I messaged Ash about meeting up and I had gotten nothing back. He had read it the moment I sent it but he never answered. Maybe he was just busy. Did I say something wrong? I paced my room as I tried to figure out what I could've possibly done wrong when my bedroom door opened.

"Dude relax, he will answer you soon. He's probably just busy," Kirsten said as she plopped down onto my bed and I sighed.

"Make yourself at home why don't you?" I muttered and she quickly nodded.

"Thank you I will," she said with a smile and I gave her a quick, playful glare before checking my phone again. I didn't mean to seem so clingy but Ash has never left me waiting for so long.

"Allison I wouldn't worry about it too much. Something could've come up the moment he read your message. You know how life can change in a second. A second is all it takes, maybe his sister died or something," Kirsten shrugged and a pillow immediately went flying across the room and hit Kirsten in her stomach.

"Don't tell her that!" I heard Hannah yell as Savy walked in, Hannah not far behind her.

"I'm sure he's fine hun," Hannah said as she placed her hand on my shoulder and Savy snatched my phone up for like the 16th time this week.

"C'mon! I'm hungry and a certain band is in L.A and just finished up with their show which also means they are probably hungry and there is a panda express right next to the stadium so we should go now!" Savy rambled on excitedly. I swear I had never seen her so excited. Maybe it was just the fact that 5SOS would most likely be in our city or if it was just the fact that she wanted me to shut up about Ashton.

"Okay okay..." I sighed and slowly nodded in agreement before my phone went off and I immediately jumped for it, snatching it from Savy. I quickly opened up my messenger and smiled as I spotted a text from the one I had known as Ash.

'Sure ;) but it has to be like now. I'm currently on a tight schedule. Meet me in about 10 minutes at the Diner across from Panda Express?'

I couldn't help but to smile at his message and I immediately replied.

'Of course! Be there in 10 ;)'

I sent the message then squealed as I quickly got dressed and ready for my meet up with Ash. I rushed out the door with my friends as I explained to them that they could easily go into Panda Express and search for 5SOS while I went to meet Ash then we could easily meet right back after. As much as I wanted to meet 5SOS, there would be plenty of concerts later, considering the fact they had a lot of concerts in L.A. We soon arrived at the strip mall full of different restaurants and stores and I watched as my eager friends ran into the Panda Express and I disappeared into the diner. I walked inside and froze as I saw Ashton Irwin sitting alone at one of the booths and my eyes widened. I quickly looked around the restaurant as I noticed everyone else was sitting with someone yet I kept my back turned to the drummer I had fallen in love with years ago. Was he Ash? He couldn't be. But it would make since. That would also mean everything I once knew was a lie. My mind constantly races as I begin to realize that everything was a lie. I felt my phone go off and I picked it up, seeing a text from Savy.

'We found all the boys except Ashton... :('

I read Savy's text and immediately knew I was right. Ashton Irwin was Ash and everything I once thought I knew about him was a lie.

'Found him....'

I replied as the realization hit me and I clutched my phone for a moment before I placed it in my pocket once again.

"Allison?" I heard his Australian accent and immediately knew it was him. I bit my lip as I turned around to face him, my heart stopping as I came face to face with him.

"Hello Ash.."
