Chapter 5

"Dae's crazy ex-pen pal and her crazy friend broke into our dorm to murder us!" Minho screamed as the three men fled the bedroom and into the living area.

"This is our room!" Kitty yelled, shoving her form in Minho's face. Maya grabbed her form and held it up too.

Q grabbed the paper from Kitty and stared at her in disbelief. "You're listed as Song Covey?"

"So?" Kitty threw her arms up.

"Song can be a guy's name. That's why they assigned you to the guys' dorm." Dae confessed.

"What?" Kitty asked.

"What about me!?" Maya asked.

"You're listed as Reynolds," Q explained. "I don't know any female Reynolds... though in fairness, I don't know any male ones either."

"That's because Reynolds is not a name! Why would they assume that was my first name!?"

"I don't know!" Minho respnded, looking offended that she'd even asked him. "They did this on purpose. To be closer to Dae..." He paused and looking accusingly at the two women "and me. Okay. I told you lot, she was hitting on me on the plane ride over." He gestured to Maya.

Maya gasped. "I was not hitting on you. You wish I was hitting on you." She took a step closer to him.

"Kitty. Can we please talk?" Dae interjected.

"No, I never wanna speak to you again." Kitty replied.

"Kitty."

"Dude, she said no. Take a hint." Maya sneered at him.

"I want my necklace back." Kitty demanded.

Dae made a face; a mixture of sadness and confusion. "Your necklace?"

"Yeah, the one I gave you when your mom died."

"Yeah, I have it around here somewhere."

"Somewhere?" Kitty asked incredulously. 

"I'll find it."

"You don't even know where it is," Kitty looked at him, hurt painted on her features. "Dae, that belonged to my mom." 

"I'll bring it back to you, Kitty. I promise."

"Your promises are literally worthless." She turned on her heel and ran to her room, slamming the door behind her. 

Maya ran to her room, grabbed her suitcase and carry-on and headed to Kitty's room. 

"All of Dae's stuff is in the room. Where's he going to sleep?" She heard Minho ask. Kitty opened the door slightly, just enough to throw a pillow at Dae before she slammed the door again.

Maya pursed her lips, before pushing past Minho. "Excuse me."

"How come you're allowed in there?" He asked.

Maya frowned at him. "Because I'm her best friend. She'll let me in." She tried the door but it wouldn't budge. "Hey, KitKat. Could you unlock the door for me?" There was no noise from inside and she made no move the open the door. "Kitty?" Again, no response.

"Ha! She doesn't want you there either." Minho chuckled to himself as he walked away. 

"Kitty," Maya rapped on the door, offended. "Why aren't you letting me in?"

"I want to be alone," came the muffled voice of Kitty.

"But where am I meant to sleep."

"In your bed."
