Mass evacuations of child dingos under the age of 6 as well as disabled dingos were under way in the town of Dingo-Ditch. The kangaroos were coming with 30,000 soldiers. "We're going to route those dingers any way we can," Warby said proudly.

"Yes we are. This battle won't even be close" a fellow soldier said to Warby. There was one kangaroo there that wasn't happy with all the progress.

"Why do you look so sad? We're winning!" Warby questioned.

"My family was killed when the dingos invaded...I also have dingo friends who were killed in action. I have nobody left" the unknown soldier mumbled out. Everyone looked around in sorrow. Maybe this whole war had gone too far. Everybody quieted down and left the poor soldier alone. They were 20 miles from the battlefield. With the speed they were hoping they would be there in about 2 hours.

On the other side of the war, Peace was readying the town's defenses for the battle. Digging trenches, laying barbed wire, and of course setting up field hospitals a little ways away from the front line. Even though the dingos were outnumbered, having 20,000 soldiers at the battle they were confident they would win. This is because they had found one of the generals' war plans. By complete accident one of the generals accidentally emailed it to the wrong government and did not realize it. One massive mistake was going to completely destroy an entire corp.

At 12 PM the kangaroos arrived for battle. They were unknowingly hopping right into their deaths. Immediately 1 by 1 the kangaroos were being picked off by gunfire. Within the hour 10,000 kangaroo casualties had happened to just 20 dingo casualties. Not a single dingo would end up dying from their injuries. The same could not be said for the kangaroo corp. One kangaroo was caught up in this fighting. That kangaroo of course being Warby Slaughter. All around him his comrades were getting killed.

"What is happening!" Warby screamed to his fellow soldier.

"I don't know!" A soldier next to him desperately yelled out. The captain in charge of their platoon ordered them to charge towards the town. All at once 100 kangaroos charged straight towards the town and all at once 99 would die. The lone kangaroo who survived was Warby. He did not get off injury free however. He got shot twice and was lying on the ground wounded. Just then Peace Bylove rushed onto the battlefield and carried him back to the field hospital. Enemy or not she was not going to let a soldier die if she could control it. Luckily for Warby the bullets had missed any major organs or arteries. However he still did lose a lot of blood causing him to go unconscious.

"Where am I?" Warby said to the nurse.

"You are in the dingo military hospital getting treated for your wounds" the nurse said judgmentally.

"Who saved me and why are you helping me?" Warby was wondering.

"I saved you" Peace Bylove said softly.

"But why?" Warby questioned.

"I don't believe in war and I am not going to let you die for something I don't believe in," Peace said.

"Thank you" Warby trying to find the words said.

"You're welcome, now get some rest" Peace said while caressing Warby on the head. Warby had a moment of realization during this event. Maybe all the dingos weren't bad. Had he been fighting this war based on lies? Maybe just maybe the dingos were the same as the kangaroos. Maybe all that was different was the name of their species and the speeches their leaders gave.
