"Shiraishi-san. H-hello. What brings you here?" the nervous girl answered at the door to the classroom.

"Good morning, nothing related to discipline, I swear☆" she waved her hand. "Just hanging out before homeroom." She looked around until she spotted the ginger. They might as well shoot the breeze and bash school until it was time to learn more useless things.

Akito was about as done with school as one could be. He was counting the moments until his homeroom teacher walked in, yet again, and yelled something at him he couldn't understand. He stared at his desk to shut his brain away, almost preferring to be at home, taking orders from Ena.

An stalked over to Akito's desk and sat right in his line of vision. She pushed herself further onto the desk, crossing a leg over the other and setting her bag in the nearby seat.

Akito startled back at the sudden butt in his face. He looked up to be greeted by An's prideful pose, grinning with her head in a hand. "S'up, Akito!"

"..." A low growl. "Morning. Mind explaining what you're doing in my classroom?"

"Can't I walk around? You don't own the school." She tilted her chin upwards, feeling a bit cocky at his despair, but quietly worried. "What's got your mood so down this early in the morning?"

Akito's eyes widened before he flipped his hair and looked away. "Ugh."

Fair enough response, but that didn't keep An from looking at him curiously. He cracked.

"I..." Akito hated how hollow his voice sounded. "I just... don't want to be here..." He avoided An's eyes as she cycled through a couple different facial expressions, opening and closing her mouth. It wasn't like she'd never heard this, before, from students who'd caused trouble or even her own friends, but she still felt nervous. She didn't usually suggest this solution, but she couldn't stand his sad face any longer.

"Akito-kun♡" An enunciated affectionately. She leaned down to his ear, hair falling onto him from her shoulder, and whispered. "Let's just get outta here, then."

Akito's eyes widened. An earnestly leaned closer to him. "Shiraishi..." She leaned back, curious about what could possibly him back. He looked towards the door. An had visited before classes even began. That was not a good sign to start with, but he didn't know she would suggest something like that. He looked over at the door, still half-shut from when An sauntered in. He bit a lip. It was a tempting offer. As potential consequences crowded into his mind, one stuck out in particular. "An, you're on the disciplinary committee for fuck's sake."

She stiffened. "Ahaha... yeah." They stared at one another for a second. "Well, let's go." She wouldn't leave him be until he smiled, at least.

Akito sighed. "Yeah, might as well. We only get seven hours before practice." He loudly scooched his chair out, wordlessly announcing his departure to the class.

"Ye-yeah~!" An stretched her hands behind her head, stiff jacket pulling upward. "That's the spirit!"

The two managed to stroll out the school gates without any issue, An's teasing and Akito's eye rolls a familiar sight, regardless of if they were heading toward the school or not. Students thinned out the further they got from Kamiyama. An stopped at the second bus stop from school. Akito noticed and stopped chatting about the process of learning drums.

"Hm, why're we here?"

"Pfft..." An cocked an eyebrow and pointed at the sign. "We're catching a bus, why else?"
