THE HAUNTED MANSION.

Chapter-1

• First day of college •

It was a cloudy day of monsoon Adya was in train traveling all the way from Punjab to Jaipur because she got selected in a good college here, she was a very bright student and absolutely amazing in Mathematics, Her dream was to be a Teacher.
All way she was thinking about her goals and achievements and finally after a long journey at 02:35am she arrived Jaipur. After walking a little she finally arrived her destination, her college.
There she noticed something weird that beside the college there was an abandoned mansion where from the window a dim light was flickering which was not normal but she didn't thought about it much and entered the college, did some paperwork and finally entered her room. She rested for that night but she couldn't stop thinking about that mansion, she slept.

Next day at college she met others and made new friends and at the end of the day when she entered her room she found another girl named Sanjana which was her roommate. They were gossiping about their first day here and suddenly they heard someone running through the hallway shouting.
Adya immediately got up to opened the door to check what's wrong but there was no one to be seen. Adya felt a chill go through her spine, in a flash Sanjana rushed to her, slammed the door and locked it. Adya was confused she asked "W-what? Why did you closed the door? A girl just shouted, she need help, open the door."
Sanjana said while blocking the door "Help?? Don't you know that no matter what you're not supposed to open the door after 12am?"
Adya said "Are you mad? Move from the way, let me go."
Adya pushed sanjana and started looking for that girl after walking a little she heard someone crying in the terrace, she started climbing up the stairs in tip toes when she reached the end of the stairs she saw the door locked from inside but from the other side the sound of crying was growing stronger and stronger, and suddenly it stopped.
she whispered to herself "Should I have listened to Sanjana? N-No I have came all the way up, now there's no going back..." when Adya gathered some courage and was ready to open the door she heard footsteps right behind her, a hand approached her collar of the shirt and pulled her down.
She screamed with all her strength in fear, closing her eyes as tight as she can, in a sudden she heard someone saying something in a manly voice
???-" Aghh!! Can you stop shouting? Goddammit my ears are literally ringing."
Adya slowly opened her eyes and took a deep breath of relief she saw a boy of her age.
She said" I-I'm sorry. You st-startled me.
???- "Why? Do I look like a ghost to you?(chuckling) by the way I'm Dev."
Adya was out of words of what just happened without thinking much she asked Dev "do you hear someone crying?"
"Crying?? No I don't" Dev said in a confused tone.
Adya nodded and started climbing down the stairs, Dev noticed that her legs were shivering and she could fall any moment from the stairs so without thinking twice he rushed towards Adya and told her to hold his neck because he was going to piggyback her. Adya refused at first but at last finally she agreed so Dev carried her and groaned,
Adya whispered "Are you okay? Am I too heavy??"
Dev said in a deep voice "Yeah I'm fine.."



Dev never came this close to a girl, Adya's thighs were as soft as cotton and the smell of her neck was so addictive which made it tough for Dev, but somehow he managed to come all the way down.
When Sanjana saw Adya she took a deep breath of relief she cried "I was so scared, I even called other roommates to come with me to rescue you but they didn't, I am sorry, I am not a good friend Adya I'm good for nothing, please forgive me."
"Don't say all this, you're my best friend I love you" Adya said while hugging Sanjana.
After all this before going to her room she looked around but Dev was not there, she thought he might have left and thought to thank him next day at college.
