14| THE AFTERMATH

*YOONGI

~AFTER AN HOUR~

     Y/N and I are cuddled up on the floor, with our backs laying on the wall. I am continuously rubbing my hand on her arm softly while she rests her head on my shoulder. I can feel her fast asleep in my arms. I sigh in contentment as I can feel her relax now that Tae-Sung's gone. I look at the mirror that is in front of us, I smile when I saw how she clings to me. I grabbed my phone and capture a photo of the two of us. Just then, I heard the door open. I quickly put my phone down and look at the door, I saw the members enter the room. When they saw us, they began showing a quiet sign to each other, pointing at the sleeping princess beside me.

     "How is she?" Jin Hyung asked quietly as he sat in front of me and Y/N.

     "She's now relaxed from what happened a while ago." I said. "What happened out there?" 

     "He's now banned from coming near the company, us, and Y/Nie. Also, Bang-PD will do everything to protect Y/Nie." Joonie said. I nod my head. 

     "Thanks, guys." I said.

     "I'm so proud of you, Yoongi~yah." Jin Hyung said.

     "For what?" I ask.

     "For standing up to her and protecting her." I nod my head in agreement.

     "That is what I promised her and I will keep on doing the same over and over again." They nodded their head and just look at the relaxed Y/N. They smile at her and they went back to what they were doing before we got distracted.

~AFTER 30 MINUTES~

     I felt Y/N move and she looks at her surrounding and she covers herself with her yawn. She looks at me then back to the members, then at me with a curious look.

     "When did they arrive back?" She asks curiously.

     "Half an hour, I think. Why?" 

     "So, I slept a long time?" 

     "Yes, you did." 

     "I think it's been a long time since I took an afternoon nap." She said and we both chuckle.

     "How are you feeling?" I ask.

     "A little better now." She smiles at me and I can tell that she's telling the truth. 

     "Good. Do you want some coffee?" 

     "I think I'll pass. Trying to lower my caffeine intake." She said and I nodded. We heard a phone ring, she looks at her phone and she sigh when she answered the call without me looking properly at the phone screen.

     "Yeoboseyo?" She says as she looks at me. 

     "Who's that?" I ask as I mouthed it out to her.

     "Hi, Eomma." She confirmed it to me. "Ne...I'm sorry I haven't been able to reach out to you..." She said through the call. 

     I signed her that I'll get my cup of coffee. She nods her head in response and I went to the other side of the room to get a cup of coffee. After making a cup of coffee, I went back beside Y/N and listen as she converse with her mom. When I took a seat, she immediately lays her head on my lap and she looks at the ceiling as she held the phone close to her ear. I place my unoccupied hand on her head and ran my fingers through her soft hair. 

     "Ne, I will ask PD-nim about that. I completely forgot about it. Thank you for reminding me, Eomma. How's unnie?... Oh! Where'd she met her new boyfriend?...Ne...Omo!...I'll try to come to the dinner later...Me? Have a boyfriend??" She was shocked. She looks at me and I chuckle at her shocked idea. Maybe her Eomma's asking if she has a boyfriend.

     "We're not in a relationship yet, Eomma...Ne...Ne...He's waiting for me to get healed from Tae-Sung...You want to meet him?" She raises her eyebrow at me.

     "When?" I ask her softly.

     "When Eomma?...Tonight?! At the dinner?!...I'll try to come, Eomma. I'll check my schedule and ask permission from manager Hobeom if he'll allow me...Ne! See you Eomma." She ended the call and she frantically sat up and faced me with a mixed reaction of shock, worry, and happiness. 

     "My family wants to meet you."

     "They know me?" 

     "From the news, when she saw me and you during the news when they try to rumor us of dating." She said and I hissed.

     "We have to be more careful when we're in public." I said.

     "I agree, but are we going?" 

     "I have no schedule for tonight. If you're free, we could go." 

     "I'll have to talk to manager Hobeom and PD-nim first. Then, I'll get back to you regarding the dinner." I nodded my head and smiled at her. 

     "Go talk to them first. I'll see you later." She nods her head and smiles brightly at me. 

     "I'll see you later." She stands and walks out of the room. 

*Y/N

     I walked towards Manager Hobeom's office. When I reached the door, I knock on his door and heard a faint 'come in' voice. I open the door and peeked my head on the small space.

     "Oh, Y/Nie! What are you doing here?" 

     "I came to tell and ask you something." 

     "Ah... Come in and have a seat." I nod my head and went inside properly and close the door behind me. I took a seat in front of his table and look at him.

     "What is it?" He asks.

     "Manager, I remember that it was almost time for me to go back to school since school days are nearing. Can I continue going to school while I do the band?" 

     "You can do it, it's no problem to me. As long as you do good in your school and extra-curricular activities in the band." 

     "I promise to work harder, manager." I said as I bow politely at him.

     "I have no doubt, that's sure. I'll forward your request to Bang PD-nim myself."

     "And I have one more to ask."

     "What is it?"

     "My family heard the news of me and Yoongi Oppa rumored to be dating. My family is inviting me and Yoongi Oppa to my parent's house for dinner tonight."

     "Well, you don't have a schedule tonight, the same goes for SUGA. Well, you can go and have dinner with your family. I'll have a driver to bring you to your destination. Write up the address and the time of pick up and home time so I can send the instructions to the driver." The manager said as he gave me a piece of paper and pen to write.

     "Kamsahamnida, Manager." I bow at him and began writing the details.

     "You're welcome. Tell SUGA that I say my regards to him since he'll be nervous meeting your family." He chuckles and I smile at him while nodding.

     "Ne. I got to go, manager. Thank you again."

     "You're welcome. Good luck to you and SUGA-ssi. You both need it." I stand and bow to him before I leave his office. While walking back to the rehearsal room, I texted Eomma to tell her that me and Yoongi Oppa will be coming to the dinner. Eomma sent a text back telling me that she was excited for the dinner and for her to meet Yoongi Oppa, and for Appa to question Oppa. Geez.
