Once more, one last chapter before I disappear from the art scene for like five months again, this time with random stuff for, as the title says, Andlàtkyn!
Again, spoilers.
Here, look upon my strange creations.
Here we have a wild Beats interacting with the feral Fresh in their natural habitat.Amazing. Such majestic creatures.
Next, we have dragon Alphys! Of course, I suck at drawing chubby dragons as I've never actually drawn one before!
And once again, I draw the beautiful boy that is Creation. He is glorious. He is loopy. He is lengthy. So gorgeous.
But here we have the dragon form of Emotion, a creature that somehow ended up with a dog face. That was not what I was going for but I gave up trying when I couldn't get it the way I wanted anyway, lol.
I also tried drawing Unity again. Still don't like how he turned out, but it's marginally better than the last attempt I made.Beware the strange hybrid god of Empathy, so young, so new, so unknown! Do not be fooled by her seemingly benevolent title, for she is far from kind.
Of course, some fun trivia is how the god was designed. As gods (and deities) are, they're shaped by associations, and for some reason empathy is attributed to hens and rats. It's also represented by the Peruvian lily, so she's basically a chicken rat (oh my God, a literal ratbird, it's about to start raining food now) with feathers made of Peruvian lily leaves and a tail that's just a stem tipped in one of the flowers.
She also has a tiny flower on her forehead because that's where the Mark is. It's pale lilac with hints of deep teal, heavily influenced by Nightmare. In fact, her skin is purple, the leaves tinted with enough blue to appear teal.
EXTREME SPOILERS AHEAD.
So I've been brainstorming things, noting this and that, and isn't it funny how the god of Destruction is in fact split in two? A realization only made in the height of chaos. A god that was supposed to be more aligned with Unity and Life as a god of mending, healing. Now there's halves.
What would such a god have looked like had Fate not forced him to be Destruction?
Well.
He still would have been weird as hell.A snake-cat-dog-hummingbird thing.
Be as it may, this god is still split in halves.
Except.
There's no more Fate to force him to destroy.
He's still destruction, but now he can heal.
He can be healing.
Gods and deities sure are strange.
