X felt sleepy again from the silent environment, and it was night already, maybe it was a bad idea to sleep at afternoon, but he just brushed it off and went to the couch again, laying down on it and covering himself, but since he cannot really sleep yet, he decided to open some relaxing music from Spotify, and he chose 'Cycles Lofi' Then he slowly felt like he is going back to sleep after hearing the peaceful music.

<<The next morning, 7:02AM.>>

X has woke up late today, his head was throbbing badly and it felt heavy from the many hours sleeping, he fixed his posture to a sitting one, and rubbed his eyes slowly.. he then smelled something good from the kitchen, and soon he realized that Sonic is already awake, and maybe is doing something for breakfast again. X stood slowly and walked to the kitchen, then he stopped at the doorway, peeking at Sonic while he is cooking. Sonic was humming something familiar that X didn't recognize yet, but he found it adorable to watch Sonic cooking peacefully like that, he even found him like a house woman.. Silly X, he really can't stop imagining the last day's events.

X got caught from Sonic when he turned around to place the food in the living room. "Good morning." Sonic greeted, he smiled at X widely which it made X flush from embarrassment then look down. "Erm.. Good morning.." X greeted back nervously, he then followed Sonic to the dining table and sat on a chair. "Ooo, you can walk now? this is some improvement, great job!" Sonic commented, he even sounded happy and relieved. "Yeah, I was walking on it yesterday, and now i got used to it." X explained, he felt a bit confident after getting praised for having some improvements with injury healing. "Really? Nice, now there is only one day remaining which is tomorrow that i will be available in, and then Christmas day will be really close so i have to do some decorating after tomorrow." Sonic announced, he placed the food plates on the table and sat down. "Maybe you can help me too." Sonic said while munching the sausage in his mouth.

"That's... interesting, but won't your friends also come to help you?" X asked, he felt a bit nervous when he mentioned Sonic's friends, he is actually scared from them, he doesn't want to meet anyone new, and he isn't ready to do it with this situation of him.. he is weak and they will pity him after hearing his story, Sonic might explain a bit of it for them which annoyed him very much. "Oh? No no, my friends are busy decorating their own houses at that time, so they won't really come, we will visit eachothers at Christmas day though for celebrating together." Sonic explained, he noticed the worry tone on X's voice, and he figured out that maybe X isn't ready to meet his friends.

"I see. Good." X said, he then sighed in relief. "But how can I help you?" X asked, he didn't actually know how he is gonna help Sonic with that broken arm of his. "Oh well, you can suggest me some colors, directing me where to put the decorations and all that, I also have to change the whole wallpapers for the living room." Sonic thought while rubbing his chin thoughtfully, X nodded slightly and continue to eat his breakfast, maybe helping Sonic with decorating is a good idea, better than staying on the back and doing nothing.

They both finished eating the breakfast, and X decided to help Sonic a bit in housework too. He picked up the plates and went to place them in the kitchen, which Sonic didn't try to stop him at all, but he was confused. "Hey um.. why did you do that?" Sonic asked, he rubbed his neck nervously then looked away. "I am trying to help?" X said, he looked at Sonic sheepishly and smiled a bit. "Oh, thanks! I appreciate the help, but i would appreciate it more if you go and rest, your injury will heal slower if you kept walking on it." Sonic instructed, he smiled back at X and placed both of his arms behind his back, which X found really cute. "Okay.. that's fair." X said, he frowned then sat back down on the couch.
