I was eager when nightfall came. It was 9 and it started to get dark. I finished eating first since I ate rather quickly. What I was doing now was waiting for Finn to finish.

"I'm such an idiot." I heard my brother sigh. I waited for my brother to finish up his fish he caught before continuing his statement,  "I mean I should have drowned that man! I'm starving I haven't eaten in weeks and the only thing we've been eating are these puny fish that don't even fill us up! That man could've ceased our hunger for a while!"

I nodded agreeing. "If only you knocked him over! What were you doing? You only managed to take the fish and what else? What was so important that you couldn't even do something simple like we planned?" I growled. He flared his gills at me before I realized my temper. "Ahem, I apologize for snapping at you." I mumbled.

He nodded. "That man had someone else with him the boat," he explained. I sighed rolling me eyes before he continued, "I saw that the man was waking up! If I would've gotten up on that boat to knock him over I would've been caught! Frantic, I realized that they had at least 3 fish in the bucket so I took the ones in the bucket."

I nodded. "At least we managed to get something," I sighed. My older brother nodded.

"What was the deal with guy last night we almost managed to get him. So why did he escape? You were suppose to take him once he fell in the water." My brother retorted. I groaned annoyingly.

"I was distracted. Okay? I don't know why or how but yes. You could've gone after him." I said. "Besides I don't think we have another chance at catching."

"I didn't want to leave you alone," he spat. He was nice enough to actually even protect me. Mhm, wow.

"Well, I can defend for myself! Besides you are the only one that can walk on land!" I hissed. He hissed back.

"This damn hunger will drive me crazy I might do something I might regret!" He groaned, pissed as he floated above the water.

"Get down people might see you!" I grumbled dragging him down the water. He whipped his tail at me so I could let go and I did. He rolled his eyes at me.

"What people I don't see anyone?" He said as he peaked his head outside of the water. "You are just being paranoid." He said.

I groaned. The day started to end and we didn't even manage to kill a feast.

I grabbed the fishing bucket and made way to the dock. Finn followed behind me obviously annoyed. He had the bait, chairs, snacks, bug spray. The basics!

"Alright, Yu, I have some rules for you." He said. I nodded. He looked at me before sighing. "You have to promise me that you have to where your life jacket." He passed the bright orange jacket. "And you have to be at least 3 feet's away from the edge of the dock and it's borders." I sighed. "And no crazy talk about those creatures or else I had personally drag you to the cottage and keep you in house arrest. We came here for relaxation not for me to worry about you dying." I nodded once more.

We set up the chairs and whatnot. Finn helped me hook up my bait as I fiddled with my fingers. Once he finished, we both threw our bait into the water and waited till the fish came.

I felt vibration in the water. My ears perked up as I felt slight movement in the water. "Do you feel that?" I asked Siren. He shook his head.
