Masaru wakes up his vision slightly blurry. He sits up seeing Clark and Lois.
"How long was I out?" Masaru asks
"10 Minutes...Damn Saiyans recover fast..." Lois says
"Oh...Parasite?" Masaru asks
"Incarcerated" Clark says
"Oh thank God..." Masaru says flopping back onto the bed
"You ok?" Clark asks
"Yeah I'm just fine" Masaru says
"We're gonna let you rest up" Lois says patting his shoulder as the two leave. Masaru falls back into the bed falling asleep.
Masaru was tossing and turning in his sleep, sweat pouring down his face. He was having a nightmare, and it was one of the most intense he had ever had.
In the dream, Masaru was battling against an unknown enemy. The enemy was powerful, and Masaru was struggling to keep up. Every time he landed a blow, the enemy would shrug it off and retaliate with even greater force. Masaru could feel his energy draining away, leaving him weak and vulnerable.
"Stop!" Masaru shouted, trying to end the nightmare. "This isn't real!"
But the nightmare continued. Masaru was pushed to the brink of exhaustion, his body battered and bruised. He could feel himself losing the fight, losing his power, losing everything.
Suddenly, Masaru woke up, gasping for breath. He sat up in bed, his heart racing.
"What was that?" he muttered to himself. "That was the most intense nightmare I've ever had."
Masaru knew that he was a Saiyan warrior, one of the strongest fighters in the universe. But even he had his limits. The nightmare had reminded him that he was not invincible, that there were forces out there that could defeat him.
He got out of bed and looked out the window, watching as the sun began to rise. He shook his head sighing he exits his room and sees the note:AT WORK B BACK AT 3, FOOD IN DA FRIDGE DAWG-Clark.
There's a pause.
Masaru Sighs.
"I'm gonna punch him in the throat..." Masaru says throwing it away
Masaru made himself a cup of orange juice. He sat down on his couch and turned on the tv, hoping to catch up on what was happening in the world.
As he watched, he realized that he was feeling a bit lonely. He had been so focused on training and fighting that he hadn't taken the time to build any like intimate relationships. He decided to call up some friends and see if they wanted to hang out, but he had none.
Feeling a bit dejected, Masaru decided to spend the day alone. He turned off the news and put on some music, hoping to lift his spirits. He spent some time cleaning the apartment, doing laundry, and organizing his training equipment.
After a while, Masaru started to feel restless. He missed the rush of battle, the thrill of pushing himself to his limits. He decided to do some training in the apartment, hoping to work off some of his energy.
He started with some basic exercises, doing push-ups, sit-ups, and squats. As he worked out, he could feel his energy building, his muscles growing stronger. He decided to do some more intense training, pushing himself to his limits.
As he trained, Masaru realized that he was enjoying himself. He was pushing himself harder than he ever had before, and he was feeling more alive than ever. He spent hours training, working on his technique and building his strength.
Eventually, Masaru collapsed on the floor, exhausted but satisfied. He had spent the day alone, but he had accomplished something. He had pushed himself to his limits, and he had come out stronger for it.
As he lay there, catching his breath, Masaru realized that he didn't need anyone else to make him happy. He had himself, and that was enough. He knew that he would continue to train and fight, but he would also take the time to enjoy life and appreciate the simple things.
Masaru got up from the floor and walked over to the window.
