I sighed as I was booking tickets to Taiwan, I haven’t been there since my whole ordeal and I wasn’t prepared to go back but maybe it would be a good thing to even finish with the divorce process. I quickly needed to wrap things here so that we can go to Taiwan and finish planning the wedding that side as everything will be done in Taiwan.

“So where will we be staying? Your parent’s place?” the figure asked while packing. We were leaving in three days and already he was packing his bags.

“Well, if you want to.” I shrugged, “I can ask my parents if you could crash at my place before the wedding,”

“Do that please, I don't want to spend my days alone cooped up in my place”

“But, isn’t it a bad omen if the groom and the bride see each other before the wedding?”

“No, no it’s not,”

“Mhh if you say so,” I said, “okay, I’m all done here. Now I also need to pack my bags and rush down to the restaurant and finish up with the system,”

“Aren’t you going to close down?”

“we’re not going for months, it’s just only for the wedding and we’re coming back. I’ll leave all the responsibility to Jean-Pierre,” I responded

“Okay, if you say so,”

We both packed our bags and I went to the restaurant to do a hand over and prep Jean-Pierre of things he needed to do while I was away. We spent the following two days eating take-aways and making ourselves busy. We spent 29 hours in a flight from Brazil to Taiwan and by the time we got to my parent’s house we were both jet lagged. We slept in on the first night because with the wedding near we had to be super busy with the preparations

“Will you do me a favour?” he asked

“Sure,” I said

“Can you please go to the fashion house to check if the suits are ready?”

“Alright,” I said, grabbing my keys and driving down to the fashion house, following the GPS. I got out of the car and walked to the reception. “Hello, my name is Zhe Gang and I have an appointment with the seamstress for the wedding suits?” I said to the receptionist.

“Oh yes, unfortunately she’s not in and we couldn’t reschedule so the owner will meet up with you in a few moment, let me just call him to let him know that you’re here,” she said in response and she picked up the phone. A few moments later she called me, “The owner will meet up with you, he’s in his office. Second floor; down the passage, last door on your right. There’s a sticker so you won’t miss it,” she directed and I followed the directions and I eventually got to the office

Before I entered I got shivers down my spine, my hands immediately got sweaty and heart began beating fast as I opened the door. My jaw dropped as I saw the man behind the desk who stood up in shock as he saw his office door opened. “Bo Xiang?” I said

“Zhe Gang?” he said in shock, while the lady in front of him also turned in shock
