Attack on Reality

Season 1

It would be an understatement to say that Historia lived in a big house. Ten people could live in her bathroom alone. The girl lived in a castle! Her dad was a descendant of the Norwegian royal family and someone in his will left him their castle for his family to live in. The castle was located inside a forest. Most of her friends took the bus to visit her, and they had to walk a kilometer (0.62 miles) from the bus stop.

"Hey look! It's the guard" Armin pointed out.

The trio was met by one of Historia's guards, Eric. "Hello, we're friends of Historia. Eren, Mikasa and Armin" Eren explained.
"Of course, I recognize you guys. I was wondering when I would see you again." The guard smiled and let them inside.
"Nice to see you again Eric" Mikasa greeted.

"I always forget how big she lives" Armin looked at the ceiling, decorated with paintings and spacious rooms. The three of them were all admiring Historia's beautiful home until they were greeted by her voice.

"Hi guys! I'm so glad you came. We can't wait to start" Historia came down from the stairway. She hugged everyone and let them into another huge room that was made into the movie room.

"You're late suckers" Connie commented.
"I have popcorn ready!!" Sasha had already eaten handfuls of popcorn before they came.

"G-guys. Don't you find this creepy at all? There is no way in hell all of this is a coincidence. What are we going to do about it?" Armin said.

"Oi" Hange nudged Armin with their elbow and said "Let's watch first, worry later huh? Now find a seat next to Annie." They pointed eagerly to an empty seat next to Annie "Hmm? Hmm?"
"Yeah yeah whatever" Armin, slightly embarrassed by Hange's remark, quickly sat down, and then they were all ready to begin to watch the first season.

They were all watching in horror at how Eren's mother got devoured in the first episode. Somehow the scene stirred so much anger in Eren that he stood up and said "How dare they!"
"It's okay Eren, it's not real" Mikasa explained. Her voice seemed to snap him out of his furry. Eren found himself surprised by the sudden anger he felt and sat down. "Sorry," he said.

"It's horrifying!" Historia exclaimed.
"Just hold my hand when something scary happens okay," Ymir told her softly.
"Ew you two, get a room" Connie commented.
"Can you just focus on how stupid you look in this anime?" Ymir snapped.

"Shut up " Levi shouted while giving Connie and Ymir a death-stare and successfully made them quiet for a bit. Though Levi had a stern look on his face most of the time, he himself tried to enjoy the show without interruptions.

They continued to watch, spitting comments now and then, laughing and gasping at all the right moments.

"Haha Sasha! Your potato character is hella stupid" Connie laughed.
"You're hanging out with me, which makes you stupid too!" Sasha replied.

"You're both stupid," Jean said.

"Levi! They captured you perfectly." Hange smiled and clapped their hands. Levi didn't reply.
"And they got your angry face too" Reiner commented.
"My resting face isn't angry," Levi said.

"Would you really kick me like that? I lost a tooth in court" Eren asked.
"Tch" Levi said.
"Of course he would! I know I would" Jean said.

"Guys guys guys! Am I the only one totally creeped out by this? The story is good and captivating and all but the resemblance is too uncanny" Armin once again broke his silence on this all too weird topic.

"Armin, what do you suppose we do about it? In the end, it's just a show right?" Eren said.

"You can't all believe this is just a show right? Levi? Hange?"

Hange stood up and asked "Do you propose an investigation?! I'm all for it."

Armin smiled "Okay, so Hange is with me on investigating this further. Anybody else?"

Armin was met with silence. "Really nobody?" His eyes stirred towards Eren and then Mikasa, but he knew their answer all too well.
"Armin, don't take it personally I just-" Eren started.

"It's okay. I'm going home. Hange, I'll text you about how I'll work on this." Armin got up from his seat and left the movie room.
"Sounds fun!" Hange cheerily said.

The door closed behind Armin and the group sat silently for at few moments.

"Sooooo.... Who's up for season 2 and 3 binge tomorrow?!" Connie shouted.
"Yeahhh let's do it!!" Sasha cheered.

Summary:
After binging the first season of Attack on Titan, Armin finds more reasons to investigate the similarities between the show and his friends. Hange supports his idea.
