Attack on Reality

Omg he touched my arm

Shinigamis eating pocky's. A guy or two in a straw hat and red vest. People with swords, people with wings, people with hair in every color. Orange ninjas, cute colorful dresses, and wands. A man with a horsehead. This was a convention.

Hange Z had to take a double-take at everyone in their radius. "Soo... Uhm everyone here is cosplaying? Right?" They asked their titan friend.
"Is this your first convention? Must be exciting!" Max smiled.
"I'm doing a lot of first-time things today..." Hange answered and scanned the room for other titan-looking people.

They walked up to a door that was decorated with stickers of singing anime characters and balloons in purple and pink floated nearby. A sign next to the door read "Karaoke room! ^_^"

"My friends told me to meet them there. Have you done karaoke before?" Max asked.
"Uhhm not sure."
"Wow, were you Amish or something?"
Hange Z was about to open their mouth again and ask what "Amish" was but stopped. They didn't want to act too suspicious.
Max opened the door and spotted a short person wearing an orange hoodie with black bunny ears and a tall guy dressed as a butler. He waved at them "Trina! Joe! Over here!"
The girl in the hoodie waved back with a lollipop in her hand and the butler waved too.

"Hey guys" Max was going in for a group hug.
"Ah man, you made it!" Joe rested a hand on Max's shoulder after the group hug.
"Yeah, I kind of ran into Hange"
"Hange?" Trina asked.

Hange Z hid behind Max, so they tilted their head slightly so that Max' friends could see them "Hi. I'm a cosplayer" they waved awkwardly.
Trina dropped her lollipop. She raised her eyebrows and blinked a few extra times. "That's amazing."
"Your cosplay is incredible!" Joe exclaimed.
"Ah thank you. I try being me."

"Hange here thought I was a real titan and attacked me. But we are cool" Max explained. His friends laughed and nodded as if they understood.

Shortly after Sonic the Hedgehog finished singing the song Baka Mitai, the avatar Korra took the mic on stage and announced the next karaoke team. "Give it up for the problematic singers with Guren no Yumiya!"

The karaoke room cheered and even more got their eyes on Hange Z.
"You gotta come with us! Surely you know the song" Max told Hange Z as Max and his team were getting ready for the stage.
"Uhmm.. and what if I don't know the song?"
Max laughed.
Hange Z was confused but kept waving and smiling before somehow readying themselves for some singing.

"Hi Levi. It's Annie. We found your Hange. They are somewhere at the yearly anime convention. Can you tell me what street you guys are on? Maybe we can guide you guys." Annie asked Levi A on the phone.

"Convention? Uhm. I think we are at Markens Gate. "
"Oh okay can you see a red building next to a Sephora store?"
"Sephora?" This fricking idiot. You just have to run away and now I have to find something ridiculous called Sephora, he thought while looking around.

"Levi? Are you there?"
"Yes, I found it."
"Ok, you guys just walk on that street towards that store until you see a bunch of people wearing costumes."
"Then what? We follow them?"
"Exactly. You should be there in 15 minutes if you walk"
"Make that 2" Levi A hung up.

"Okay, It seems like he got it," Annie told the others.
Mikasa nodded and focused on the fastest route she could find. It wasn't long before they also reached their destination.

Armin sighed "Hey Annie... I want to say I'm sorry"
"Huh? For what?"
"If it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been involved in whatever this mess is."
Annie smiled and held his hand.
Armin's heart skipped a beat.

"Don't be silly! This is super exciting!" Her smile grew wider and Armin couldn't help but smile back. Armin A's eyes widened at the sight of this interaction. He sat right next to his double in the car, so he couldn't help but notice. Awkwardly he got eye contact with Armin, so he quickly looked away. Armin kept his head down for the rest of the trip.

Levi A didn't lie when he meant 2 minutes. The Ackermanns stormed to the convention by using their ODM gear. Just like in the Spiderman movies they used the tall buildings of the city to move through any crowd and obstacle. People cheered and clapped, as they were amused and in awe by the speed of the Ackermanns.

Many couldn't believe their eyes and several people took out their phones to capture the moment. "Maybe we shouldn't have used our gear," Mikasa A said to Levi A.
"We don't have time. These people don't even seem too suspicious about it. We might as well be circus acrobats."

They landed in front of the gate of the convention. Right as they stood up, they were swarmed by a flock of weebs who all wanted to take pictures with them as well as ask how they made their gear so realistic. "I don't have time for this!" Levi A yelled and pushed his way through the crowd. "Move please," he said, as he tried to make way for him and Mikasa A.
"Omg he touched my arm!" some girl said.
Levi A rolled his eyes.

"Levi! Over here!" Annie who got out of Mikasa's car waved at them.
"What took you so long?" Levi A shouted back.
"Follow us! We have an idea of where they might be"

And just like that. Two Armin's, two Mikasa's, an Eren, a Levi, an Annie, and a Hange rushed to find their friend. What they didn't know is that they aren't the only ones looking for them.

A black wagon pulled up near the convention.
"Doctor. This is where we sense abnormal activity" the chauffeur told as he parked the car.
"Of course it has to be at a public place like a convention..." Grisha sighed and put on his stormtrooper mask. He and four other men were dressed in white stormtrooper gear. Silly but effective for a job that required anonymity.

Summary:
The crew knows Hange Z is at the convention and they have arrived.
Apparently, Grisha and his stormtroopers also have business there.
