This made her turn towards him with a shocked and frightened expression. Then he said in a mocking tone, "I will be back in no time, sweetheart. You would not be here without me for a long time. Sadly." then left the place.
Just after he closes the door, she runs after it and tries to open it a few times. "No! Don't do this- I won't let that happen, know this! You won't be able to separate us for whatever the reason is.. I will throw your non-existent bond to your goddamn face, John- whoever you are!"
She began to pant, turned back and walked ahead, yelling the hell out from her lungs. "Ebert!! Mom, Dad!" A tear fell from her eyes when she remembered how since the morning she is stuck here. "Bri..an.." She said brokenly and sat down in the corner of the hall. She put her knees close to her and wrapped her arms around it.
No, Francesca. How will my voice reach them? This man is not going to leave me and his intentions that easily.. What will be I doing then?
"It's almost midnight, Brian and I'm losing my patience. I don't know what's left to do? I think I really should tell my parents." Ebert told Brian and began to get out of his car. Brian shook his head, made a helpless face while going after him, and began to say.
"No no no no, no. Please dont tell them yet, Ebert. Please.. All this happened because of me and when they'll know about it.. I can't show them my face. They will not forgive me, ever. I promise I will find out where she is, I promise. Don't tell them about it."
"What are you saying, Brian? How can I not? They deserve to know that Francesca has never gone on the trip and was not there all the way since morning. And we don't know when she will be here again?"
"Come with me, to my place. We will tell this to my father. This didn't come to my mind because I was only thinking about her, but we should tell him." Brian was on the verge of crying, and both sat back in the car and went to his place.
His father was coming down from his room, "What is it that you are calling me at this time? Both of you-"
When he saw Brian was sitting on the couch with his head lowered and his hand placed on his forehead, Ebert pacing around waiting for his father, then saw him coming and he went down. His mother was coming behind him, and soon both of them were waiting for them to say something.
Brian looked up at his father with his teary gaze, "Father.. I'm finished. I don't want any of your remaining revenge. I don't want anything to do with John, I just want her. She has been missing since morning. Her bus driver told me she left halfway through the trip, but her phone is turned off till now and she is nowhere where she should be."
"What? No one knows where she went?"
"No.. how far is she, how close she is from here, how's she surviving without her phone and where.. Where the hell is that place where she went in the middle of nothing?!"
Meredith came and stood in the corner as she watched them silently and concerned. Ebert also sat on the other side of the couch and began to say,
Ebert tried hard not to cry but in between his talk, he eventually did. "I'm sure something happened to her. Why would she tell this to the driver? She went on her trip happily. Now she is not even there and anywhere else.. I wish I hadn't let her go. She didn't even get to know everyone agreed for her marriage."
Albert said, "This has happened all day and you are telling just now? At the end of the day? What should I do at this time? Where were you until now, huh?" He began to walk back and forth in front of them.
"Nothing came to my mind when I thought about her. What has been passed is passed, leave it. I'm telling you now, help us find her. What should we do?" Brian said to him and he sat beside Ebert and began to say,
