Her eyes open wide in anger plus frightenedly the tears continuously falling down on her cheek silently, but unable to say anything because it won't affect him. She really wanted to, but did not. John slowly pulled away and untied her feet and both hands with a smirk, and went for his room.
She fell on the floor and began to sob loudly. Repeating in her heart,
Why is this happening to me? Why is this happening to me? Why why why..
Just like this, she kept crying on the floor the rest of the night.
It was almost midnight, and Ebert was sitting outside his house with his head hanging low. He felt dejected, he was quietly crying alone while thinking about his sister which Brian clearly said he did not think about once. But it was not all true, that's what he knew. He can't prove everyone wrong, but also doesn't want to make it true in the future as well. But, helpless as well.
There Francesca was all alone stuck with him, here's Ebert, who was losing everyone, one by one.
Brian was walking back and forth repeatedly, unable to sleep with the only thought on his mind, how can he save her when he's not even able to see her for once. That she is there because of him.
Ebert was lost in his thoughts and didn't realize that Meredith was there and looking at him from afar only after she saw him crying. He sniffed and looked up, and both began to look at each other. He stood up, "What- What are you doing here, Meredith?"
"Brian.. He wasn't fair." She said softly by standing still there.
"He didn't do anything wrong either. He is right..." He took a step closer and said in a croaked tone, "I didn't think about my sister, nor him, or anyone. I don't have any power, I'm unable to fight back.."
She lowered her head and nodded a bit, "I know.. I know everything, Ebert. I'm here because.." She looked at him, "I know you would be alone."
After he looked at her with so much sadness, she spoke up while coming to him when he was about to say something. "No. Please, I don't want to hear what you're about to say. I know what you'll say. That everything has been changed, I shouldn't have come here, everyone hates you so should I- Still, even though I don't care about any of these.. I am aware. Okay?"
He helplessly looked around himself when he found himself in a place where he can't say anything to her right now. "Then.. Why are you here?" He asked her while looking at her with the look she knew deeply about.
"I'm just here to see you. To see if you are even a little bit, but alright. To make you feel that you're not alone." She gave him a sweet smile, hoping she could do something at least for him, this time. And he just silently looked at her, again unable to answer her.
Next morning, the first thing John did was bring her back to his mansion as he is never dying to go on a honeymoon, nor can he delay everything he intends to. When both were walking inside, Francesca looked at every corner out of his mansion where she undoubtedly believed she could only run from here in her dreams.
Just when both were about to go inside, Francesca's parents were trying to get inside from the gate but his guards kept them back. "Francesca!! My daughter!" Her mom shouted and Francesca's eyes opened wide after hearing this. She turned back and was the happiest in these times for the first time after seeing her parents.
John turned and saw them too, and was already sure who they were. He took off his glasses and saw all of them, when she, without thinking anything, began to run towards them. As it was going to, John quickly made his men grab her arms and refrain her from moving towards them.
