Heat - Iguro x Reader

This winter has been cruel, Especially for the demon slayers.

Blizzards were happening at least once a week, making it more and more difficult to complete a mission without risking getting or dying from hypothermia.

As for you... Well, you were in the serpent pillars estate, trying to keep everyone warm.

People in the estate liked you for your shy, but helpful demeanor. You never bothered anyone unless they needed assistance since you were the most experienced yet the quietest out of all of them.

Once you helped everyone in the estate, you found where you can relax after a long cold day of helping everyone, was interrupted when a kakushi came up to you.

"Hey (Y/N), sorry for interrupting you, but you think you can check on Iguro-san?"

Confused by this request, you asked the kakushi, "Why? What's going with him?"

"He's been in his room for a long time ever since he came back from his mission. It's kind of unusual of him, even the other pillars are worried about him..."

You then heavily exhaled as you were tired, but didn't want to disapprove of his request, you then got up and walked away.

"Again sorry!"

"No, it's okay!"

You then knocked on Iguro's door, to see if he was here. "Iguro! You in there?"

You knock again. "Is everything okay? The others are worried about you!"

You hesitated to grab the doorknob and say, "I'm coming in, okay? Just don't try to hurt me."

You slowly open the door to see Iguro sitting down without his shirt on. For a strong pillar like him, he didn't have that much muscle structure.

"Umm... Is everything okay?"

You slowly walked up behind him trying not to alert him. You then reached out to touch his shoulder but stopped when you heard his breathing. It sounds like he was struggling since his breathing was shaking.

"F-fuck..."

"Iguro...?"

You then touched his shoulder and he froze. He then slowly turns his head to see you standing behind him.

"(Y/N)... What are you doing here...?"

"The others wanted me to check on you, so I did. Are you okay?"

"*sigh* Yes, I'm fine. I just need some time alone. Y-you can go back whatever what you were doing."

At first, you believed him. But then you see that his face was red, and so were the tip of his ears.

You then put your hand against his head and he was on fire.

"Your burning up. Are you sure you're doing okay?"

He groans. "I told you before, I'm fine."

"No, you're not. I think you might be sick. Here, let me get you on your futon."

The moment you touched him, he yelped just from your touch. You were shocked by the heterochromia-eyed hashira yelping.

"L-look just... Please get out... I just wanna be alone..."

"Not until you tell me what's wrong. The kakushi told me you were acting weird ever since you returned from your mission."

"There's no stopping you is there? *sigh* okay ill tell you..."

You then sat in front of him, making sure he was aware that you had his attention.
