Missing Piece - Yushiro x Male! Reader

"How does your arm feel Tanjiro?" You asked him as you looked at his wrinkly left arm.

"It feels a little stiff, but I can still move it." He chuckles as he tries to move his arm around. "I can't hold on to anything with this arm though, but, I won't complain about it."

"Since when have you ever complained about anything?"

He chuckles and responds, "Believe me, I've complained about certain stuff when we were in the Corps."

"Really? Like what?"

"Why I wasn't strong enough to save Rengoku-san, why I couldn't save those people at the village, why did I hurt my sister when Muzan turned me into a demon?"

Oh... Forgive me, I shouldn't have asked."

"It's fine... But let's not make ourselves upset, let's go see how the others are doing." Tanjiro said as he got out of bed and put on his slippers. You follow him and he opens the sliding door and started to roam around the headquarters.

As you were walking around with Tanjiro, you couldn't help but notice how beautiful the headquarters was. "Was this place always this beautiful? How many times have I walked around this place and not noticed this? I guess I was too driven to kill demons, after what happened..."

Tanjiro opens the sliding door to see Zenitsu and Nezuko sitting next to each other, while Inosuke was being... Well, Inosuke.

"Tanjiro! (Y/N)!" Nezuko exclaimed as she got up and hugged both of you. Both of you smirked and patted Nezuko's back as you look at Zenitsu and Inosuke. She stops hugging you both and says, "How are you both feeling?"

"I feel pretty good, I mean the scar on my stomach has been recovering. See, look at it." you pull up your patient's wear top to reveal a long scar that stretched the entirety of your stomach. Almost everyone in the room winced at your stomach and you said, "Oh c'mon, you guys literally seen worse than this." you said as you dropped the top back down.

"Still, you shouldn't even be alive with a scar like that. What upper moon you fought against to cause that?" Zenitsu said to you. "Some six-eyed freak, I didn't know his name, I came late into the battle. He had a long sword, I can tell you that much."

You said as you all sat down in a circle formation. "So, what are we gonna do now that this is all over? I mean there are no more demons, we killed the king of them, we saved Japan, and potentially the world, I mean, what's next for us?" You said as you looked at everyone.

"Well, I promised myself I would marry Nezuko once she turned back into a human, and once all this was over, but only if Tanjiro says it's okay. You think it's okay if I can marry your sister, Tanjiro?"

Tanjiro chuckles and responds to Zenitsu, "You still have a lot to prove, Zenitsu. Until I see you as a remarkable husband, then you can marry my sister."

"Haven't I proved myself to be a good husband!? I protected her when Inosuke tried to kill her, I protected her back on the Mugen Train, and I went searching for her back at that spider woods, which was not a fun experience! And, I became more level-headed around her as time went on!"

"Yes, you have done that, but didn't you threaten to kill Inosuke because Nezuko said his name rather than yours?" he said to him and he went dead silent. A smirk crept up to your smile as you covered your face and tried not to laugh, but Inosuke beat you to the punch. "That's both sad and hilarious! You, threatening me just because Nezuko said my name!? How pathetic are you!?"

"We could go for a round if that's what your asking," Zenitsu said as he stood up in front of him. "Aw, look at that, 'Monitsu' is trying to be a tough guy for his girlfriend. Isn't that adorable?"
