It's been two weeks since you and Genya crossed paths with each other after not meeting each other for so long.

"Caw Caw! Caw Caw! The (P/N) Pillar must head to a district North! Northeast! North! Northeast!" Today, your mission was to go to a district where rumored people were disappearing.

This gave you a sense of Deja vu, but you still rolled with it.

Also, your head was hurting but you ignored it.

Once you got to the district, it was getting dark. You went to the little hideout made by the Demon Slayer Corps and unrolled the scroll to see what was happening with this place.

Turns out you were correct. People were disappearing from this district. And it's all because of a group of demons.

Yup. Deja vu.

You closed your eyes and took a huge breath before letting out a soft exhale. "C'mon, (Y/N). It's just like last time, just don't screw up."

"Your right, you won't."

You immediately took your katana out of your saya and took a defensive stance. You looked around to see if anyone else were there but you couldn't see anyone.

"Whose there? Show yourself!"

"Okay..."

Suddenly you felt big arms wrapping around your waist and someone's head laying in your hair.

"I promised you I wouldn't leave you, didn't I?" Said the gentle but firm voice behind you.

The person stopped hugging you as you turned around to see who it was, and it was no one else other than Genya. The last time you saw him he had a uniform, now he was completely topless with black markings all over him.

He tried to maintain a straight face but failed as he had a light blush on his face. "Sorry, did I scare you? T-That wasn't my intention if you were wondering! You seemed nervous about this mission since what happened last time, so I thought-" You got your toes and wrapped your arm around his neck and shut him up by kissing his lips.

You stopped kissing him to see his blush turn redder. "Nice to see you too, you big dummy." You said as you pinched his cheeks. "H-Hey! Don't make me flustered more than I already am..." He said as his eyes avoided eye contact with you.

You giggled at even though he was a demon, he was still the Genya that you knew and loved.

Genya shook his head and huffs to get himself together. "Well, what are you doing here? Are you here for a mission or something?

You sheathed your katana back in its saya and said, " I am, thank you for asking. Come look." You walked back to the short desk and sat down as Genya did the same.

"Sorry for surprising you like that. It's just not being able to see you during the day that just makes me upset. But I don't wanna stalk you because then I would just be creepy."

"..."

"I'm gonna shut up now..." He shrunk himself from embarrassment after realizing what he had just said.

You inhaled from your nose as you hugged him for pity. "I miss you too..."

He lightly blushes but smiles in the process since he missed you too.

"Now let's focus, alright?"

He nods. "Okay, so the scroll says here that people were disappearing in this district because of demons. Why are they doing this? I don't know. But maybe we can catch one of them and try to get an answer out of them."
