Akaza watched her fight the lower rank. She was blissful in most ways. Headstrong, fast. When she eliminated the lower rank, he felt a need to show himself. Yet he waited.
He knew she could get a hit on him if she actually tried. But he wasn't trying to bring any harm to her. When Amiya headed towards the woods, he knew it was his chance.
He let her feel his presence, and in meer seconds, he was in front of her, face to face. He saw her gorgeous eyes up close, he had a grin plastered on his lips.
"A hashira huh?"
He spoke, his eyes flicked to her sword and he jumped back before she could get a hit in. She looked fearful, but also like she was expecting him.
She was beautiful, long cherry red hair flowing down to her hips, ice blue eyes that resembled an ocean. Soft, pink, and sweet plump lips. He felt attracted to her.
She ran forward and swung her sword but he dodged her again.
"Easy there! I'm not going to hurt you. I don't hunt on women and children."
He raised his hands in defense. She stopped, confused on why this demon in was not attacking her. His eyes read upper three. So why not kill her?
Amiya shook her head
"What is it you want upper 3?"
Her voice was soft as the wind on a chilly spring day. Akaza felt his heart ping at the sound of her voice.
"To have a chat, you're name?"
Amiya stood dumbfounded by this demon, it was clear he wasn't going to hurt her. But demons would say anything to kill their prey. Even toy with them.
"I'm the Snow Hashira, Amiya Chiminosa."
He grinned as he felt himself getting at least somewhere with her.
"I am Akaza, why do you insist on fighting out here alone Amiya?"
Amiya furrowed her eyebrows, she was a hashira, she was fine to fight on her own. She didn't need anyone to protect her.
"I am a hashira, I prefer to battle and patrol alone."
Akaza chuckled, so headstrong of her. He held out his hand to her.
"Why don't you become a demon? It's obvious the corps does nothing for you. For a hashira to be out on her own? That says something."
What he said to her was mostly true, but also that he wanted her, he wanted to protect her and love her. Yet he didn't know why.
Why would a measly human have such a hold on his heart? It didn't make sense to him. Yet he didn't ignore the feelings either.
Amiya widened her eyes and then shook her head
"Not a chance upper moon."
Akaza crossed his arms, he felt kinda hurt that she didn't use his name, yet he knew he couldn't kill her either. It would go against him and all he's done as a demon.
"Perhaps I could persuade you?"
Amiya rolled her eyes,
"What, seduce me into becoming a demon? Not in the slightest."
Akaza shrugged his shoulders
"Worth a shot."
Within seconds he was face to face with amiya and held her arms up against a tree, he looked down at her with a flirtatious look. She struggled against him but he chuckled knowing she couldn't do anything in this position.
Her sword had been tossed aside and she didn't have a spare weapon on her. She gripped his wrist eager for him to let her go, yet her body stiffened when he leaned down to her ear.
"Become a demon Amiya, you could stay with me forever if you so wished it."
She still wanted him to let her go,
"Don't try and escape Hashira. You are no match against me without your sword."
Amiya stiffened, he was right. But she wasn't going to give into him that easily. She lifted her leg and kicked him in the ribs and when his grip loosened she bolted for her sword yet he grabbed her ankle and she fell to the ground.
He was above her and simply chuckling at her, this time he had his hand on her neck and pinned both of her hands to the dirt.
"Y'know that's a strong kick you got there. Could be very useful if you were a demon."
She spit in his face and akaza closed his eyes, this girl was stubborn, but he wasn't going to let his guard down now. He leaned closer to her face and glared deep into her eyes.
"If I were any other demon, I would've killed you by now. Be grateful."
She glared at his shattered blue and gold eyes, again, he was right. Yet she couldn't let her whole life go to waste for some demon.
"Akaza... Please. Let me go."
His eyes were stern as she asked him, he didn't want her to fear him, he felt a small thing of guilt in his heart.
He sighed gently and leaned to her ear again, "At least let me see you again beautiful."
Amiya's eyes widened, he truly didn't want to hurt her. He actually wanted to see her again. Maybe that's what she could tolerate. Get to know him more.
She slowly answered, "Fine. As you wish."
Akaza grinned, "Perfect, how about tomorrow at Sundown, I'll give you a place to meet me?"
Amiya nodded as Akaza gave her the location to meet him, he was still on top of her, her breath was quick.
Akaza caressed her cheek and leaned to her again, "See you tomorrow Amiya." He leaned down and pressed a kiss to the soft spot on her neck and winked before disappearing into the night.
'Was she actually going to meet him-? Or would she bail...'
Her face was blood red when he kissed her neck and winked. Amiya slowly stood up and made her way home.
'Some demon really took interest in her. It baffled her. But for now, she would be better off living up to his requests.'
Amiya eventually made it home and spent the night thinking about tonight's events.
