The Forgotten Mate

When it all goes Down

When I was younger,I always remember running in the forest.My mother would tell me stories about enemies being in the forest, I never believed her the forest was my home.Well that was before I met her.

I've been in the hospital for about a week, the pain is in bearable but not as much is the pain I feel in my heart. but for some reason I feel like this is going to make me stronger. I will always love my mate, but what he did was unthinkable.

"Will be releasing you today. Will have to take this medicine to help your muscles in your body also your mind.You'll have slight depression due to the fact of the rejection but I think after seeing a therapist it will help." The pack doctor told me. Some people would think being released would be amazing to get to go home. But where is my home?

Kate brought me some clothes, it was a dress and high heels I don't know why but she seems to want to dress me up. As I was finishing getting dressed I hear soft knock at my door. Then I see Greyson at the door. I look into his eyes and see lust. He shuts the door and I take breath,as he talks to me.

" We need to talk." He voice is very low. If he wasn't my mate- I mean old friend then I would run.

" What is there to talk about? I need to go and find myself a place to live. To move on with my life." I spoke. Hurt fills his eyes but, then covers it up with anger.

" You will not be going anywhere. You're my mate!" he growls at me. who is he to talk. He mated and mark another. I will be damn if he tells me what to do.

" Let me tell you something. You mated with another and on top of that you still think you have the right to call me your mate. So fuck off!" I was so angry, something inside of me wanted to come about. Feel like I'm changing.. What's going on. I look over to the flowers by my bed and they were dried up.

Greyson was looking at me with a death stare, even if he is my mate, he's the alpha. " You will not leave! You will stay, be a good girl and stay in the pack house." He used his alpha tone, I almost bowed down. Key word almost.

"Last time I checked I'm not a part of your pack. So you're not my alpha you sure in hell are not my mate. I will be leaving here and searching for my own place. So get your goodbyes in because this is the last time we'll see me." My wolf growled at me not liking the way I talked to him.

Hurt, sadness, anger fills his eyes. You would think I would stab them in the heart with my words. I have to move on. " Please please don't go I lost you once and I will not let that happen again. "

" I have to go." With that I walked past him and open the door to go outside.

As I open the hospital doors fresh air breeze is on my face. I could smell the forest and the river. Felt good to be alive again. now I have to find my way in life, so I best be walking.

~ few days later ~
"Katie can you help me move these boxes upstairs please!" I yell from upstairs in my new house. I live close to town but it only takes me about five minutes to get to the forest. Stay close to my best friend even though she's in his pack, I can't lose my only family.

Kate comes upstairs with the boxes out of breath."aren't you supposed to be a werewolf in training. Must be that much harder than carrying a box upstairs." she gives me a dusters and put the boxes down.

" You know I think you should go out tonight. Let's go celebrate moving into your new house into your new life. There's some amazing club we can go to and have fun."you can see the excitement on her face I do need to get out just to keep my mind off of things. I nodded and she started jumping up-and-down and squealing. She started talking about what we are going to wear and that's when I started to zone out.

Help help somebody help me! where am I. I look around and see Greyson in my tomb. He starts to shut the  door close but it wasn't her It's Grayson."if I can't have you then no one can." I start to scream I start to beat on the door to see blood coming from my hands from punching and scratching trying to escape this hell.

I turned around and I see her.

" I'm back!"
