This can't be my father died. I saw it with my own eyes. " Cat its me'' the man spoke to me with care in his eyes.
"You Cant be my father, my family died when I was five. This a really missed up joke." tears come to my eyes. Emotions I have been keeping deep inside of me start to rise.
" I know its hard to explain but, we had to do what we had to do, toprotect you." He looked at me and his eyes pleads to me to listen. " You have grown up to be a beautiful lady'' I shake my head this can't be.
" You can't be my father. I know your powerful cause you have that era but... My family is dead." I explained to this man in front of me.

" I know that my father made a power witch name Coetzee, fall in love with him so he come have power. Then he met my mother and broke her heart so she cursed his  child  to  never be happy with their mate." I felt shamed of my family past.

Your mother is a vampire... Coetzee was so mad that she promised to cause a great war between the two kinds. The kicker was that someone would die and would end all wars. Cat you're a  hybrid, very powerful when you met your mate the power would uprise. Coetzee knew this so she cased a curse on you so you couldn't be with your mate to meet your full power. We had to perpend to be died cause she would think she won and leave you alone but we were very wrong. You lost your mate and for that Im sorry cause you are losing the thing that makes you so pure... your humanity. We asked Kate and her family to keep us a secret." Kate knew about this! All those years I was graving, hurting, and she could have told me. My Vampire side was rising.
" Is my mother alive?" I ask with a quite tone., he nod. What was I going to say my family is alive, my best friend lied to me, and Coetzee wants to start a war.
" why tell me now? I can't be with my mate he's taken. I will never meet my power I need to stop the war. " What can I do, Yes I have some power, but not enough to defeat her.
