renjun groaned as he felt someone violently shake his body, waking him up from his peaceful slumber.

"ugh.." renjun groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, allowing them to adjust to the sudden brightness. he became aware that he was still on the bus, except they were no longer on campus.

"wake up, loser." donghyuck's voice was what caught renjun's attention, but the younger pushing renjun's head off his shoulder is what made him snap back into reality.

renjun turned to glare at donghyuck. "do you have a death wish??"

"no, but I do want to let you know that we're here!" donghyuck said with faux sweetness lacing his voice.

the younger passed the oreo-haired male an innocent smile as he got up from his seat and started stretching his arms over his head.

"ow, I think I cracked my back." renjun distantly heard chenle's loud voice, followed by jisung's quieter murmuring.

to be entirely honest, renjun's brain was still asleep even though his body was awake. everything was just so foggy.

'where exactly is 'here'..?' renjun thought to himself as he looked out the window. there really wasn't much he could see other than loads of grass and loads of other students (renjun assumed they were all from his college, but...he couldn't be sure.).

"fuck you, hyuck." renjun suddenly said under his breath as he rubbed his eyes with the back of his hands. he mimicked donghyuck's action and also got up from his seat and stretched out his limbs.

"you wish." donghyuck snorted as he looked back over at renjun and playfully winked at him. "maybe in your dreams, though."

"you're disgusting." renjun grimaced and stated matter-of-factly, slapping donghyuck's hand away when it came to ruffle his hair.

"and you love me, so what does that make you?" donghyuck chuckled as he put his earbuds back into his carry-on bag.

"an idiot." renjun grumbled under his breath as he put his airpods away and made sure he still had all of his stuff.

"wake up, idiots." doyoung's voice pierced through the back of the bus where the ten boys were seated. "let's go!"

ten groaned as he was rudely awoken from his slumber when kun shook him.

"shut up. you'll have plenty of time to sleep later when we get situated into our cabins." kun said with a roll of his eyes before he went around and woke up the others who were still asleep.

after everyone had woken up and gathered their things, they all exited the bus in what they tried to make an orderly fashion, but chenle, jisung, and xiaojun were too excited and ended up pushing past the rest to get out.

"well, there goes my plans for a peaceful trip." kun sighed and muttered to himself in chinese.

"I still can't believe you actually expected them to be peaceful." ten chuckled as he discreetly intertwined his fingers with kun's. "I gave up all hope years ago."

kun looked down at their hands that were laced together, a gentle smile taking over his previous frown.

"let a man dream." kun chuckled as he looked back up at ten, gently squeezing the younger's hand as they stepped off the bus.

"they are so dating." donghyuck whispered over to doyoung in a teasing manner as he eyed kun and ten's joined hands.

doyoung chuckled and shook his head at donghyuck's antics, pushing the younger out of the bus.
