"woah..." chenle and jisung gasped softly at the same time as they finished walking the trail, and they weren't the only ones.

the view in front of them was, well, incredible.

it was a big grassy area, with just enough sunlight coverage and loads of beautiful flowers in random patches.

off to one side were the cabins, but on the other was a pretty big pond/lake with the beautiful view of forest green and stone grey mountains, and on one of those mountains rested a gorgeous waterfall.

the best part was that the gorgeous sight was only a little bit from them, so they could take a small 10-15 minutes walk and admire it up close whenever they would like.

and, finally, in the middle of the two places was a fire pit with lots of logs around it. it was perfect for if they ever just wanted to hang out and chill or lounge around in the middle of the night.

it was truly just so...ethereal.

it was, well, perfect, in a sense.

"beautiful, right?" irene walked up next to the two boys and smiled as she looked out at the view. the two younger ones rapidly nodded their heads with wide smiles on their faces.

"well, you guys can enjoy the view more later!" irene began with a wide smile.

"right now, let me call out roommates so you all can finally settle in!" irene announced as she walked towards the middle of the field.

"by the way, there are also nine cabins here." she pointed out before looking at her clipboard again.

"okay! starting off, in cabin one, we have nakamoto yuta and dong sicheng!" winwin nearly groaned when he heard his name being called out. the absolute last thing he wanted to be paired with someone he didn't know.

across from the original ten boys the story has been following so far, a blonde haired boy who stood amongst eleven other boys frowned ever so slightly and rolled his eyes. he was currently having the same dilemma as winwin.

"in cabin two, we have seo youngho, lee taeyong, and jeong jaehyun!" irene nearly flinched as she heard three boys from the group of twelve erupt in loud, excited cheers.

"o-okay...cabin three! we have qian kun, chittaphon lee—...I—...uhm..." irene fumbled slightly as she stared at the long name written on her role sheet, so long that it was almost cut off during the printing process.

"just call me ten." ten sighed as he loudly announced. almost everyone's attention was on him now.

"okay! uhmmm—restarting!" irene muttered as she looked back at her clipboard. "cabin three! qian kun, ten, and liu yangyang!"

kun and ten smiled at each other, while at the opposite group, another blonde haired boy frowned slightly.

"moving on! in cabin four, we have kim doyoung, kim jungwoo, and wong yukhei!"

right about now, doyoung had the overwhelming urge to throw himself into that waterfall when he realized he wasn't with anyone he knew.

he also noticed that two boys from the opposite group cheered happily as they started to hug each other.

'great. just my luck.' doyoung thought to himself as he rolled his eyes, not particularly ecstatic to be the odd one out.

meanwhile, next to a very annoyed doyoung, a nervous donghyuck kept bouncing his leg anxiously as his hopes of being with one of his friends decreased quickly.

"hey," doyoung whispered as he placed a gentle hand on donghyuck's knee. the younger looked up at him with sad eyes.

"calm down." doyoung said softly with gentle eyes.
