Sal was getting ready for what he is planning on being the best weekend of his life. Ever since Travis's mom started raising him alone, he had a lot more freedom and this weekend Travis was going to spend the whole thing at Sal's house. Sal hadn't had a sleepover with someone from outside the gang before especially not with a boyfriend. The two had been excitedly texting about it all week and Todd was helping him plan out some of the things they could do like games to play or movies to watch.

On Thursday the day before Travis was supposed to come over the two were texting late into the night when Travis asked something Sal had been worried about.

'Can I see your face?'

'I don't take pictures of it' Sal responded quickly.

'No not right now, I mean tomorrow.' Sal stared at his phone, he couldn't tell if he was comfortable with it or not. He was worried that if Travis saw it he may dump him on the spot.

'ill think abt it' Sal sent the message then called Todd immediately. It took a few rings before Todd picked up.

"Sal it's 2 am why the fuck are you calling." Sal could tell my Todd's grogginess that he had woken him up.

"I'm sorry I know it's late, but I need my wingman, can I come over?"

"Fine but be quiet my parents are sleeping. Don't knock ill unlock the door."

"You're the best." Sal told Todd before hanging up and heading to his apartment. When he got there he almost instinctively knocked but then he remembered what Todd had said and just walked in instead. It was a bit weird to just walk right in but he knew if he knocked Todd's parents would not be happy. The living room smelled like weed like it usually did after 11pm but Sal just ignored it and went straight to Todd's room.

Todd was in pajamas sitting at his desk half awake and a little annoyed, but he could tell by Sal's voice in the phone call they had that it was important, so he didn't give him anymore shit for waking him up.

"He wants to see my face."

"Haven't you two only been dating for like three week? What do you mean he wants to see your face?"

"We were texting about this weekend's sleepover, and he just asked out of nowhere and I don't know what to do."

"Well are you comfortable with him seeing it?"

"I don't know that's the problem!"

"That's fair, even I haven't seen it."

"Exactly! Like I want to trust him and I want him to love me despite my looks but what if he doesn't? what if he thinks I'm a freak and dumps me!"

"Wait haven't you guys kissed? How did you kiss without him seeing it?"

"We just pulled up my mask a bit."

"Well then hes already seen half of it how bad could the other half be?"

"Bad."

"Well Ash has seen it already, right? And she loves makeup, why not ask her to help you make it look better?"

"And what do I tell her I need this for? I can't just tell her about my secret boyfriend."

"Tell her it's just for you that you just want to see yourself look normal in the mirror"

"You're such a fucking lifesaver Todd." Sal Pulled Todd into a tight hug while thanking him.

"Can I go back to bed now?" Asked a still half-asleep Todd.

"Yes of course and again thank you!" Sal said while slinking out of the other boy's bedroom and out of the apartment. Sal knew better than to call ash this late like he had Todd, she would be awake but she shared a room with her little brother so she couldn't be loud, so he texted her instead.
