I watch Baby in adoration as she smiles barely containing her excitement. I'm glad she is so happy i want to give her these moments considering everything she was deprived.
Baby turns her head away from the menu looking up at me with a big smile and red cheeks. I cant help but forget everything that happened earlier and all my worries when i look at her beautiful face.
The waiter comes over a moment later interrupting our moment, much to my displeasure. "Hi, can i start you off with your drinks?" He asks us while holding a notebook and pen. I nod to Baby to tell the man what drink she'd like.
"I'll take a sprite please" she says shyly before looking at me for approval, i give her a smile showing her I'm proud of her for being brave and ordering despite her shyness. I tell the waiter i want coke he nods and walks away to get our drinks.
I turn my attention back to Baby as she looks at the menu "see anything you want?" I ask her already knowing what I'm going to order having been here many times over the years. She makes a cute thinking face before looking to me.
"i don't know, there are too many options" she says pouting her plump lips at me causing me too harden slightly. I grunt adjusting myself.
"are you okay?" She asks me innocently only making my situation worse.
I nod telling her I'm fine, "I'll order for you" i tell her knowing what she will like based on what she eats at home. Home, i smile at that thought as it now feels like a home since Baby has come to live with me. Baby smiles back at me
"thank you for taking me on a date" she says shyly. I reach over and grab her hand unable to keep myself from touching her any longer "your very welcome" i say to her before pressing a kiss to her knuckles. She blushes a deep red that even spreads to her ears.
The waiter comes back with our drinks before i have the chance to say anything else. Baby pulls her hand out of mine when the waiter places our drinks down causing me to frown. We both grab my drink taking a sip before i tell the waiter what we want.
"I will have Grilled Lobster Tails With Lemon & Herb Butter and she will have Tripple Cheese & Tarragon-Stuffed Mushroom" i say to the waiter passing him our menus. "Your food will be out soon" he nods taking our menus and leaving to put our orders in.
"Have you been on a date before?" Baby asks me causing me to realize I haven't in a long time. "Not since i was a teenager" I tell her, she frowns at me "why?"
