I'm so sorry

Nothing keeps me here,
Only you two.
I had a father,
Now he's gone.
I had a sister,
But our feelings turned bitter.
I have a mother,
Sometimes,
When she's sober.
And I'm juggling you two.
My pale moon,
My brightest sun.
Your sad smile when I say her name.
Because I love you the same.
In the morning,
You hold me and ask me not to go.
And when she breaks my heart,
You wipe away my tears.
It must hurt you,
To see my eyes light up when she calls.
I know I'd be happier with you,
But I can't quit her.
When you ask me why I'm home late,
All I can do is apologize.
We both know.
And I swallow my pills,
And you sing me lullabies,
Until I slip away in your arms.
