Luis to the Rescue

That's it. You hate this castle. As you and Leon reach relative safety besides the merchant, you try not to think about the invisible things you two killed in the water.

As you head down the sewer after trading with the merchant, you two head through the door.

Looking at the gates walkway, it feels like you're on a boat, but without the swaying. Just the cramped hallways and the metal all around you. You see a button for those liquid nitrogen shower things.

You have a horrible feeling about this.

That's it, you're done for. You stare in fear as the creature, now without his robe, rushes towards you. Leon pushes the button, making the shower spray onto the beast as he pushes you behind him as he sprays the thing with bullets.

You feel useless, but you're so afraid all you can do is run, Leon behind you, shooting at the thing behind you. He does the liquid nitrogen shower on it again as you burst into the room to turn on the power, letting Leon deal with the thing outside.

Screaming you duck the tentacle that wipes out above you and you rush out, Leon reloading his guns. "The powers on let's get the HELL out of here!" You say tensly.

Leon nods, "he's not dead yet so until the elevator comes..." You whimper at what that means but nod, trying to be brave.

You two avoid another tentacle as you head back towards the elevator. Hoping it comes quickly. You run around with Leon, crying the whole time, hating the stupid fucking creature as you both slowly weaken it, with the showers.

You use the last shower, stopping him, and with a yell, you jump him and repeatedly stab him in the head, even after it falls to the ground dead. "THAT'S FOR ASHLEY YOU FUCKING DOUCHEBAG!"

Shaking, cold, adrenaline pumps through your veins and you flinch away as Leon touches your arm. "Hey, we did it. You finished him off." He gathers you into a hug.

You cry silently into his shoulder, before you feel him pick you up. "Come on, I'll carry you for a minute." You have no fight in you as you let him bring you to the elevator. Knowing you need to leave the cold metal rooms.

Leon sets you back on your feet after the elevator closes. "Are you okay?" He asks quietly and you nod.

"I'll be okay... Just...need a minute." But you don't get a minute as you and Leon start experiencing pain, and you both fall to your knees as a vision comes to you both.

It's of Lord Saddler, "Pitiful little lambs, your suffering can end, just as it has for our new daughter. Who has joined us in communion! And now... She is of our flesh, of our blood." He holds out his hand, "My faithful deciple will show her the path. Go now! Deliver to those vagrant children their salvation." You see a glimpse of a knife with a snake and a red beret, "As you wish," a different man says before the vision ends.

Leon grunts as he rises, and then helps you stand. You share a look with Leon. He's breathing shakily. He seems slightly rattled, which is very concerning. You look over as the doors open.

Luis stands in front of you, he wiggles a package, "I'll make it cheap for you."

You smile at the man, "How much?" You walk forward and hug Luis. He hugs you back a little surprised. "There's your payment." You smirk taking the package from him and sitting down on some boxes. He chuckles.
