Flawed Angel

So...

I peeked one eye open as I thought someone was staring at me when Luke kissed me. I looked around and sure enough there was someone staring... but it was that someone. I pulled back from Luke and got a better look at him. He looked, how do I say it, surprised yet confused all at once. Who is this guy... he's so mysterious it's fascinating yet creepy at the same time.
"What are you doing?" Luke tries aimlessly to see where I was looking.
"Uhh nothing... How about I catch you later? Sound good? Great." I blurted out not even waiting for an answer. that mystery guy started to walk away again, so I followed... again.
"Jess! Did I do something wrong?"
"No I just remembered I need to feed my fish." I said loudly so he could hear, as I was skating away from Luke. I could hear him mumble something I couldn't make out. I didn't have time, this guy was killing me with curiosity.

I chased this guy all the way to the music shop. "What is he doing?" I thought as I entered. Upon my entry I was stopped by Ashton. Yeah, remember him?
"Ahh Jessica how are you?"
"I'm great Ashton. Ok I know this is weird but do you know who that guy is? Wait... he's behind the counter!"
"Chill Jessica. That's Mikey... I mean Michael. He's a friend of mine."
"Hm that's the guy..." Ashton looked at me weird as I got lost in thought.
"Why are you asking?" Ashton asked waving a hand in my face, bringing me back to reality.
"Uhh... I've just seen him around. Particularly when he ran me over." I chuckled to myself.
"Hey Mikey! There's someone I'd like you to meet!" I stood like a deer in headlights as Ashton beckoned.
"Hey I'm Michael."
"I'm uh Jess... we've met before... no?"
"Ohh yeah... sorry about bulldozing you the other day. I was late for rehearsals."
"Rehearsals?" I thought I said under my breath but he obviously heard me.
"Me and Ash, we have a band if that's what you'd call it."
"Oh I love music. So does Luke." I mumbled the last part.
"You should swing by one of our "rehearsals" sometime." he used finger quotes around rehearsals.
"Yeah. Um what information do I need?"
"Here. Friday, 8:00 after close."
"Alright I'll see you guys then? Here's my number if you need me to bring anything." I said writing on a notepad which was on the glass counter. And starting to walk out.
"By the way Jess... I like your music taste. I heard your earbuds playing at the park." he said smirking.
"Oh thanks." I blushed realizing how loud it must have been and walked out.

Loser (Huke): what was earlier all about? You peeled out pretty quick. Plus I know you don't have a fish you're too irresponsible for that.

Jess: sorry I saw Kaiser and wanted to catch her to ask her something.

Loser (Huke): okay if you say so. I got to go. uh talk to you later.

Jess: okay bye :)

I put my phone away and my stomach started to growl. I headed to the nearest McDonald's or as Luke calls it: Maccas. I ran in got some food and texted Kaiser.

Jess: hey lameo I got food. Meet me at my house for movie night.

Kaiser: ok. be there in ten weirdo.

With that I put my phone away and skated towards my house. It was supposed to start raining soon so a movie night is perfect. Plus, Kaiser keeps me in line so it's refreshing to be with her. I got home and searched for my keys. I opened the door and she was sitting on my couch.
"How did you get in?"
"I know where the key to the back door is dummy." she stated standing up and grabbing the food from my hand.
"Outsiders?" She looked at me returning to the couch.
"Yes. You know me too well." I said plopping onto the couch and zoning off to the movie and greasy food.

sorry this chapter is kinda confusing. I'm doing a summer paper and it's got me messed up. anyways I have not introduced all the main characters :)

Kaiser (ki-zer) is pretty much Jessica's only friend that is a girl. you might be thinking "Jessica is a slut for hanging out with only guys." well you're wrong. she grew up with only brothers so she can be a bit rough with people. she doesn't hang out with girls because she normally hurts them, as she is so used to being rough. Kaiser keeps her in check because kaiser is also rough, but if Jess gets too rough she takes charge. so yeah she's one of the only girl characters you will like. ;)

Anyways with that said here's the...

QOTC: do you think Michael is creepy for following her around or do you think Jess is just being paranoid?
