Hanging with Hemmo

Luke and I hung out all day today. We ate at a nice café in town and then just skated around... Granted Luke fell quite a few times, but still it was skating. Whilst skating there were many people outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Days like this are my favorite. It's sunny, not too hot, and I get to spend it with Luke.

After skating we went to our favorite ice cream store down by the music shop. We walked in and Luke walked towards the counter, me following suit as excited as a five year old. He greeted Brandon, the worker at the ice cream shop who has grown to like us, and ordered our normals. Luke payed and I didn't argue much because, hey free ice cream. We sat down at one of the small tables in the room and he finally handed me my mint chip ice cream. We both enjoyed our frosty treats and Luke just stared at me. "What's up with you today huh?" I teased. "I'm not quite sure..." He trailed off and broke his gaze. I just shrugged it off and ate another bite. "Hey did you hear about the skate shop finally getting their new shipment in?" I asked curious if he had been updated. "It's not like you haven't told me a thousand times already." he joked. "Sorry I'm a little excited... even though I'm broke." I stated. "What happened to getting a job?" He asked as his eyebrows furrowed. "Well... I kind of didn't get one." I said my words quieting as I spoke. "That definitely sounds like you." Luke said poking my side. "Oh hush it Hemmings." I said lightly punching his arm.

We finished up in town as the sun started to set. Luke and I always have these hangout nights where one of us would go to the others house and we just play video games, chat, and watch movies till we pass out from being so tired. Well tonight was his turn to host and usually that meant Luke rage quitting the games because he can't win. "You ready to lose tonight Hemmo?" I asked trying to bother him. "No way in hell, Jessie." Luke said smirking and handing me a controller. Little shit knows I hate to be called Jessie. He sat down next to me on the couch and started up Halo 4. "HA! This is my game! You're going down." I yelled getting in his face. "Not tonight... not tonight." he teased.

"WHAT HOW AM I DEAD?! NO WAY YOU JUST BEAT ME AT MY GAME." I yelled frustrated and grabbing at my hair. "SUCK IT JESS." Luke yelled back. I will win no matter what. I will go the distance to beat his long legged sorry ass. "Oh you'll see... you'll see." I said in a hushed tone. "what?" Luke questioned and the next round started. Without hesitation I ran right towards his player guns blazing. "What the.. WAIT. HOW ARE YOU... WHAT" Luke panicked as I neared him. He started shooting back and that's when I pushed his sorry butt off the couch. "OUCH MY ASS." Luke yelled as he rolled around and I won the game. "Sorry Hemmo better luck next time." I said shaking my butt in victory. "Well..." he said standing up "You didn't win yet." he said grabbing me and declaring a wrestling match by pinning me down.

"For fucks sake mate. Make you pins better and yourself less vulnerable." I said flipping him off me and pinning him down. "See I'm not vulnerable." I said sticking my tongue out. "Ok. ok. now get off." he said trying to wiggle out of my grasp. "Tap out and I will." I said knowing that tapping out is the ultimate admittance of defeat. "Do I have to?" Luke begged shooting his blue eyes to my brown ones. "Yep." I said smirking. He finally tapped out and he started walking towards the kitchen. "FOOD." I screeched to annoy him. He started rummaging through the cabinets till he grabbed a box of heavenly Oreos. He then rummaged through the freezer until he pulled out some vanilla ice cream and I think I mentally fainted when I heard my favorite words come out of his mouth.

"Want an Oreo shake?" He asked getting the blender already knowing my answer. "YES OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU LUKE." I said mentally giving him a big sloppy kiss on the cheek because I can't really reach his cheek. I went to one of the drawers in his kitchen and grabbed the ice cream scoop. Then I started scooping enough ice cream into the blender. Luke poured in some milk and I threw in the angels food. once it was done blending we poured some glasses and ran back to the couch. We turned on Guardians of the Galaxy and started to watch.

I finished my milkshake after Luke did and felt pretty tired. I guess Luke saw me rubbing my eyes and pulled me into a hug then he laid back on the couch. He pulled a light blanket over us and I knew I'd fall asleep being in his warm comfortable grasp. "Goodnight Hemmings." I said yawning. "Goodnight Jess." Luke said in a raspy tone. I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

So I might not post tomorrow because I'm getting an MRI of my head tomorrow and I'm really hoping nothing too bad is found... With that said I'll tell you why I'm getting an MRI. So for a few months now I've been getting these AWFUL migraines in what my dad says as an unusual region of my head.(my dad's an ER doctor and yeah) but I'm really stressed out and nervous. I'll try to tell y'all the results but if I'm not on for a while then I probably don't have access to my phone. Love ya.
