Moving in

Dick's pov
Gotham, Wayne Manor 4 pm

Clark just arrived home from work. Bruce had a business meeting until 5 o'clock so I had plenty of time to talk with Clark.

I rushed down the stairs and I almost bumped into the man of steel.

"Whoa, Dick. Where are you running?" he asked.
"To the cave and you're coming with me" I said and started to pull him towards the elevator.
"Dick, is there a problem?" he asked, but I just shook my head.

We arrived to the cave and I jumped on the tightrope rope and started my warm up. It helped me focus, but Clark seemed like he's very much worried about me.

"So, you'll live with us from now on" I said and Clark looked a bit confused. I didn't blame him, even I didn't know what my point was.
"Just until I got back my apartment" he said almost stuttering. I looked at him in disbelief.
"Sure... Well, I just wanted to ask you when do you want to propose" I asked and his face turned red.
"Wh-what?"
"Haven't you talked about it yet?" I asked and I jumped down in front of him.
"N-no"
"But do you want to marry him?"
"I-I don't know... yes... maybe" he said and I couldn't stand not to roll my eyes.
"Just say yes or no"
"It depends. You have kryptonite with you?"
"What? No! You think I'd try to kill you? Only Bruce has kryptonite" he seemed a little calmer now.
"So... You won't kill me if I say yes?"
"No, I won't" I laughed. "On the contrary, I'd be very happy about it. But I won't call you dad" I said quickly and he burst out laughing.
"I understood"
"But to be clear, I'd steal Bruce's kryptonite and kill you if you hurt him" I said in a serious tone.

Clark didn't have time to respond because Bruce arrived then.

"What are you two doing down here?" he asked as he sat in front of the computer.
"Nothing" we answered at the same time. Bruce turned around and examined us suspiciously. We tried to show our most innocent faces.
"If you're planning a surprise I won't talk to you for a week" he turned back to his work and we looked at each other relaxed and let out a relieved sigh.
