Marella POV

I hold Dexs hand as he leads me to the leap master. We go to the wonderling woods everyone is gone. "They must be a the vackers." I said still holding his arm. Dex raises his home crystal up to the light. He goes to the leap master and I follow him. "Everglean!" We shout in unison. As we glitter into view I pull myself out of his arms he looks sad but then I say "I don't want them to know about us just yet. So just Marella and just Dex. OK?"

"OK." He says a little disappointed. I kiss him on the cheek to make up for being apart. I knock on the door. Fitz opens the door and looks relieved.

"Guys! Dex and Marella are here." Fitz yells into the house. Fitz leads us to a living room with a big table and a fire place. Everyone is siting in a circle. 

"Guys I have some news." Dex says a little nervous. He takes a deep breath "Sophies alive." He leaves it at that for a minute to let it sink in.'

"B-but she transmitted to me saying that they were killing her." Fitz stammers looking like he wants to believe it, throw Dex across the room, and cry. He chooses the first one and asks 

"How do you know that?"

"When we were at Sophie's planting I a notification on my ring that she pressed her panic switch. I tracked her location so do you want to come with us?"

"Why is Marella with you?" 

"I saw him sneak off and me being me wanted to know why. So I follow him. He told me what he was doing and I told him I was going with him."

"OK then. Let's go!" Biana says with a lot of energy.

"Where is the place?" Tam asks

"Keefe you might not like this but it says that she's in candle shade." Keefe looks like he's ready to blow. But Keefe takes deep breaths and calmly says 

"Let's just go get Foster. We can talk about my messed up life later." Keefe holds up his home crystal to the light and everyone grabs a hand. I make sure to get Dexs hand. He smiles down at me as the light whisk us away. 

Dex POV

I lead the way up to candle shade and go inside. "It looks like I need to go down. Keefe is there a basement?" I ask

"Yep." Keefe replies leading the way to a small door. I open the door and lead the way down. As we get to the bottom of the stairs there is a room with a door to the left. I slowly go up to the door and turn the knob. When I walk in I see a lot of cells on the wall there is a message.

Sing swan, spring swan, then let's fly, follow the pretty bird across the sky,

Call swan, fall swan, then let's rest, tucked in the branches of your quiet nest.
