Sophie POV

I am laughing my butt off when Gethen walks in. "Hello Sophie." His voice makes my skin crawl 

"What do you want." I ask bored with the conversation already 

"I want to give you liberty so I am only going to put handcuffs on you. Ok." I don't trust him but I nod my head. I can hear him unbinding my hands then see him in the front untying my feet. "Come along child. We have places to be." I look to my left and there's a wall with bail fire torches along it. I look to my right and see a wall. I want to know if we are under ground or not so I ask Gethen.

"Are we underground?" 

"Yes we are. Took us 4 years to build this. Now get in the room. NOW!" I jumped a little when he spoke but I just walked in and Gethen came in after me. "Sit in the chair." I sit and he starts to strap me down 

"W-what are you doing?" I ask hating how my voice shakes. Gisela walks in smirking at me. I repeat my question but still don't get my answer. Gethen puts his hands on my temples and i can feel him enter my mind. I try to stay awake but Gisela gave me something. I press my panic switch before everything goes black.

Dex POV

Today is Sophie's planting. I can feel a tear roll down my face. I look around at my friends there cry too. Keefe, Fitz, and Sophie's body guards are taking it the hardest. I look down at my shoes then feel my finger vibrate I look down and see that it's glowing brown. BROWN! A smile pulls on my lips as I tap Marella on the shoulder then whisper in her ear.

"Sophies alive. She is using her panic switch." Then I show her the ring and she too smiles. I lead her out of the crowd so we can talk in are normal voices. "Marella I'm going to leap to my house. Do you want to came wi-"  

"You are not going to leave me out of this Dizznee." With that I hold her hand and we leap away. My cheeks heat has I hold her hand I have had a crush on her for a while. As we glitter into the view I walk up to my house and open the door. We run up the stairs taking them to at a time then get to my room. I lick a DNA sensor, put three fingers on the handle, put in my password, and then I touch all the corners of my door in a pattern. After all of that my door pops open. "Wow. That is a vary safe door."

"Ya. It has to be or else the triplets will come in and destroy all of my things." I say as I make my way to my desk and get my tracker. I sit down on my bed and gesture for Marella to sit as well. Then Marella asks a question that i thought no one should ask.

"So how does this work?"

"Do you really want to know?" I ask hoping she will said yes

"Well ya. I want to know." She is smiling now. Not like she just tricked me but a genuine smile. So I try to explain it in a way that wont make her bored.

"How it works is that when you press the ring it sends waves all the way back to this box." I point to the borad that I got off of my desk. "Then this sends ways to my ring to make it vibrate. I even put different colors for all of you guys. Sophie is brown, Fitz switches from teal to blue, Biana is teal and pink, I am periwinkle, you and Keefe are ice blue but you have periwinkle mixed and Keefe has brown, Tam has silver blue and teal, and Lihn is silver blue and a sharp blue." When I said that she had Periwinkle and ice blue she looked confused but by the end she had a smile on her face. I was an about to continue to explain when Marella cuts in.

"I like you too." 

"W-what do y-you mean. I d-didn't say anything." I say starting to trip over my own words. She laughs and it sounds so cute.

"You pared everyone with who you think should be with. So I like you too." I smile because that is the first time anyone has told me they liked me. After Sophie's kiss I was scared to tell someone that I liked them.

"Close your eyes." I tell her. She doesn't hesitate and quickly closes her eyes. I take a deep breath before placing my lips on hers
