CHAPTER 1
"Drink! Drink! Drink!" The people around me screamed. "Come on Avery!" Sean yelled. I gave him the finger and he just laughed. SLAM! The bottle ended up shattering all over the table.
Poor poor senior guy couldn't beat a junior girl at a drinking game. “Anymore takers?" I slurred with a sweet smile. Everybody cleared the room and left me with Sean and the senior guy throwing up in the corner.
"Avery how do you feel?" Sean asked.
"Drunk! What about you babe?" I stumbled into him. He caught me by the waist and placed me back on my feet.
"Follow me" Sean grabbed my hand, and started dragging me to the stairs.
For some reason this make me feel giggly and happy. When we reached the bottom of the stairs I yelled "Hey guys! I'm getting lucky tonight!"
The people below cheered and whooped, while Sean looks at me smiles and shakes his head. Sean pulled me into his bedroom, and locks the door. "Seanieeeee? Will you make-out with me pwease?" I asked like a little child. Wait...What child would want to make out? He didn't even answer, before he pressed his lips against mine.
His tongue asked for permission, but I denied him. He growled low in his throat, and his grip on my waist tightens. He asked again and this time I let him in.
The taste of his tongue in my mouth is like heaven. Sean picked me up making me wrap my legs around his waist. He starts to walk to his bed. Did I mention that we haven't broken the kiss once?
I snaked my arms around his neck and started tugging on his hair. Once we got to the bed Sean put me down and leaped on top of me still kissing me. He pulled away and looked into my eyes and said, "Look Ave baby, I'm not going to lie to you...but I don't feel anything."
"Your dick says different." I said looking down. Sean smirked and said cocky, "Willy doesn't know what he is doing. He can't help but feel wanted at the moment."
"Wow I can't believe you named your dick Willy." I laughed. "Ave just shut up and kiss me." Sean rolled his eyes.
You guys must be thinking that Sean and I are going out! HA! Sean has been my best friend since second grade. You also may be thinking why the hell am I making out with my best friend! Well ever since freshmen year we have been doing this because we have nobody else to do it with. Yes, we are lonely bastards get over it. Tear I know.
I pulled back just now remembering what he said. “Wait you said you didn't feel anything?" I asked shocked. Sean nodded confidently. “Are you serious Seanieeeee?" I pouted. He came down pecked my cheek and whispered, "Absolutely positive."
Damn! This boy sure knows how to give me chills. "Well what if I do this?" I whispered against his neck. Then I pecked it, which turned into sucking his neck, sucking his neck turned into more making out.
As Sean was unbuttoning his shirt, some random couple came in laughing for no reason. Oh freshmen. Good times. Sean and I burst out laughing at their drunk laughing.
"Hey Sean it looks like some freshman’s were gona get it on in your bed." I wiggled my eyebrows. Leave it to the drunken freshmen to laugh even more. I didn't say anything funny. Sean shook his head like he was thinking what would be going on if they did it in his bed.
"Well come on Ave, I better get you home before your parents freak out again." He buttons up his shirt.
"But I wana stay here!" I say snuggling up to the pillow. The only part about being best friends with Sean is that he can pick anybody up, and with me being only ninety-five pounds makes it easier for him.
"Hey babe?" I make it a question. "Yes sweetie?" He asks looking down at me.
"You’re a Meany butt head!"
I beat on his back as he carries me against my will down stars. He just laughs and snatches his keys of the hook next to the door. “I am so gona kick your ass when you put me down!” I wail as loud as I can. Again he just laughs and drops me lightly into the front passenger seat of his fancy cherry red Lambo.
I cross my arms and pout as her starts the car and drive the few short blocks to my house. Now I know what you are thinking, why the hell did I get in a car with a drunken teenage boy? How is that in any way smart? The answer is… it’s not. If I would have been sober enough to walk home and not get lost I would have but my sense of direction is bad enough with out the added confusion of alcohol.
We pull up to my house in a matter of minuets. I risk a glance at Sean and he is looking at me, a cocky grin painted on his drunken face. He looks kind of like a lost puppy… the thought made me giggle out loud. He raises an eyebrow, and I just shake my head at him before opening the door. I almost trip over the curb in my attempt to step up on the side walk.
“Watch yourself klutz.” Sean teases. I flip him off again with out turning around; I just keep walking up the steps to my house.
“Good Night Ave!” he calls before rolling up the window and speeding away down the dark streets. I hope to god he doesn’t wreck.
After twenty minuets of fighting the key to fit in the lock I stumble into the dark house. Fully expecting my parents to ground me for breaking curfew and being drunk on top of that, But when no light flicks on and my parents aren’t sitting in chairs facing the door like in some bad movie, I have to stop and think. Was there car in the driveway? I move the curtain from the window and glance out. Nope, the only other place would be the garage, which was also empty.
What the fudge was going on? I walk into the kitchen and search for a note of some kind but I don’t see one. Okay, this was getting weird. I walk down the hall to their room and their not there either!
The room was still spinning from the beer and various other alcohols. I needed to sleep but I still needed to know where my parents were. The spots clouded my vision and I decided they would be there in the morning like magical fairies, popping up when you’re not looking. Made perfect since to me.
I fall onto my bed and close my eyes; not bothering to put on PJ’s or take my makeup off.
