For the whole season, our team won each and every competition, and Taz kept getting better and better. It was the Prize Giving of the last competition, and I won single best rider, and Taz won most valuable horse. At the end of it, I got approached by a famed horse breeder, Amanda Thorne.

"Hello, Ashley, I have an offer for you." We shook hands, "I have seen you riding and I think that you are amazing! As you know, I'm the owner of ~Champion's Stud~ the sports horse stud, and we have lots of young horses that will make future eventers and champions, if they're brought on right." She looked at me, "Im offering you 10 4-5 year old horses to bring on, compete on, and then give 8 back to me, so that you get to keep 2. It will be paid, £100 a week, and you will be sponsored by my company. You will have 2 saddles, 2 bridles, 5 rugs, and 2 saddle cloths, all for each horse." I was over the moon! I was leaving the collage soon anyway, so I would call dad, and take 15 horses home. Luckily, I had a professional yard. I sorted out the arrangements with Amanda and went to her yard to pick out the 10 sports horses that I would be training.

"Okay, I like the grey, the cremello, the piebald, the dun, the liver chestnut, the mouse grey, the appaloosa, the skewbald, the jet black and the flea bitten grey." I said. "Yep, in that order, their names are China, Cookie, Mocking Jay, Smartie, Secritariat, Alpha, Quince, Sonic, Yoshi and Jigsaw. Good choice!" She said, and got her stable hands to lead them forward, "How will I remember their names?" I asked, "Oh, don't worry, each horse had an inscribed plate on their head collar, saddlecloth, and rug." She replied. The horses were loaded up and taken to my yard.
