EIRLYS

"Oh my God. Are you serious, Eirlys?!" I covered my ears because of Ciarra's loud voice. Ciarra Lisse is my cousin. The youngest daughter of Jackson and Loraine Calin.

"Lessen your voice, Lisse. Ang ingay na nga rito, dinadagdagan mo pa." I rolled my eyes before I drank the liquor in my glass.

"Bakit mo biglang naisip 'yon? Are you out of your mind? What if may HIV 'yung makasama mo? Tito Dereck will surely kill that man!"

I groaned. Sabi na nga ba at masamang sinabi ko pa sa pinsan ko ito. She's overreacting. Well, wala naman akong ibang mapagsasabihan. I can't tell it to my sister at lalong lalo na sa mga kuya ko.

"I'm just so stressed, Lisse. Maraming nangyayari ngayon, alam mo 'yan."

Hindi pa man nagsisimula ang sa amin ni Draven, hirap na hirap na ako. I think he wants to keep his girlfriend with him kahit ikakasal na siya sa akin.

She stopped from being OA, and she just nodded. I know na alam niya ang sinasabi ko. Maraming nangyayari sa pamilya namin ngayon.

To my brothers and sister, pati na rin sa mga pinsan namin. Sumasabay lahat.

We're here at Tito Jackson's club, and I'm trying to look for someone I can make out with or spend the night with. It's clearer than water na hindi magiging maganda ang pagsasama namin ni Draven dahil may girlfriend siya! At ayaw kong ibigay ang sarili ko sa kanya kung gano'n lang din naman. He's not deserving!

"I know, Eirlys. But do you think that this will solve your problems?"

I shook my head. "No. Pero maaaliw ako kahit konti, Lisse." Am I freaking drunk? Seryoso ba ako sa sinasabi ko?

"God, Eirlys! Ni hindi ka pa nga graduate sa college! You're just turning twenty!"

"Oh, shut up. I'm old enough." I rolled my eyes.

I look around to search for who's going to be my target. Alin kaya ang magandang makasama for tonight?

I suddenly felt something on my chest. Oh, crap. I'm gonna fucking puke!

Nagmamadali akong umalis sa pwesto namin ni Ciarra. I went to the women's restroom and puked inside the empty cubicle. Naparami ata ang inom ko!

I used my mouthwash after what I did. I applied lipstick, too. My skin is so pale kaya hindi pwedeng namumutla rin pati labi ko.

My head was spinning the moment I stepped out of the restroom. I almost lost my balance! Mabuti na lang at may umalalay agad sa akin!

"Miss, are you okay?" Napapikit ako sa baritonong boses na 'yon.

Yes! This is the consequence of drinking too much! Akala ko kasi ay mild lang 'yung liquor kanina pero hindi! Matapang pala! Oh, this is disgusting. My mother was a bartender, pero hindi ko alam ang mga alak?

"Yeah, ah..." Dumilat ako. "Thanks." Umayos ako ng tayo at nilibot ang paningin para hanapin ang pinsan ko.

"Are you sure?"

I just nodded.

Napapikit ulit ako at kinalkal ang bag ko. I have to call my cousin, or else mawawala ako tonight!

I looked at the man beside me. I almost lost my jaw when I saw how handsome he is. He's tall, damn! His lips are pink and look so soft. His nose is proud. His eyes are gorgeous, same with his lashes. His jaw didn't disappoint either. He's so damn gorgeous.

"Do you have a girlfriend?" I asked, looking at his lips.

He smirked. "I don't. I'm alone. You?"

I shook my head. Masyado akong preoccupied sa nangyayari, but the next thing I knew, I asked him if I could kiss him! He's got no girlfriend and is probably not committed kaya okay na siya! Mas okay siya kaysa kay Draven na may girlfriend!
