Brown eyes full of fear, full of excitement, of adventure, boarded the train heading towards Hogwarts for the first time. Boarding the train, Rhylara felt unease as she pushed her cart through the narrow hallway. She felt as if she would accidentally run over the person in front of her. The tall stack of books made it nearly impossible to see in front of her; she more than once tripped over a folded piece of carpet. She felt lost, she felt nervous. Luckily, she had a friend to keep her company.

The smokey furred feline purred softly as they walked through the train corridor, walking a few steps behind her, tail feathered out behind it. Smokey was its name, a maincoon kitten just over a year old. The kitten, only 14 months old, was already too big for the carrier. The familiar was too attached to be left at the Indigo  household, not that Rhylara minded. She was rather attached to the furred animal as well.

Rhylara searched for an empty cart for what seemed like days, Smokey growing impatient. The brunette was almost out of train to search when she found a mainly empty card. A lone girl with fiery red hair sat by the window, a book in her lap. Rhylara thought about searching for a more private cart, but the end of the train was staring right back at her, with a sigh, the girl knocked on the cart door. The bells rang for last call boarders, as the red head turned quickly, removing a hand from the book she had resting in her lap to wave to the brunette. Her smile was warm and kind. Smokey purred at Rhylara's feet. She was already wearing the Hogwarts robe attire, the black skirt neatly fitted over her legs, the black robe folded to her side. a sweater was layered on top of the white button down, the collar peeking over the neck of the sweater.

"Hello," the red head answered to the knock, the kind smile set some worries away. "Would you like to sit with me?" Rhylara smiled back, Smokey already walking into the cart, claiming it as his own by jumping up on the padded chair and laying down. purs vibrated from his white collar. Rhylara sighs with a smile. She adored him.

"That would be wonderful, I greatly appreciate it." pushing her cart into the room and stashing her belongings in the overhead compartments. The red headed girl only smiled, waiting to introduce herself. The last book fell into place in the compartment, the brunette closing the door quickly to make sure no stragglers fell out. Finally, she turned to the girl with the book, holding out a hand.

"My name is Rhylara Indigo , I must thank you again for your kindness." her hand was met with a very soft, very warm hand, the pair didn't shake, just a simple gesture Rhylara learned from her father. Vincent Indigo , a very accomplished medical wizard, hated firm handshakes more than anything in his life.

"Lily, Lily Evans." The girls smiled, dropping their hands back to their sides, the brunette sitting down next to her cat. "And who might this handsome gentleman be?" The smile returned, contagiously making Rhylara smile as well.
