Exes to Lovers| Preference

You and Leon broke up a few years ago, it was one of the saddest things you'd both ever done because you both loved each other so much, but your lives were going in different directions and it was for the best.

Fast forward to the present when you see Leon again for the first time since you both split up. You're both as shocked as each other, he looks different yet the same, obviously people change over the years, but he's still handsome and those eyes are still full of love for you, especially when he double takes as he watches you.

Option A: You're both put together to go on a mission, though Leon tries to ask for a different partner the boss won't let it happen, so you both have an awkward reunion. The chemistry is still there though and you both ignore your past to get on with the mission. It goes sideways quick and you almost get hurt, Leon defends you with his life and takes you back to a hotel where you can both recover, somehow mission accomplished. Leon snaps at you for being selfless and you snap back, after a heated argument Leon kisses you, it turns hot and heavy but before you make it to bed Leon asks if you're sure, he says there's so turning back and he won't let you go again, you nod and spend the night with him. The next day you head back home together, hand in hand and still madly in love.

Option B: It's only a short passing, Leon and you can barely register the fact that you've seen each other again before you're off with you day. You regret not talking to him, thinking back to the past and how good things were. You still love him and the look he gave you was the same as before. Full of sadness and regret you go back home just as it begins to rain. A massive thunderstorm rains down hell outside as you simmer in your thoughts, suddenly there's a knock on the door and you open it to see a drenched looking Leon staring wide eyed at you. Shocked but also relieved you let him in. Leon and you have a small catch up before he finally admits he still loves you, you tell him your feelings and you both talk it out, after a few hours you both order takeout and watch a movie, agreeing to go slow but get back together. Leon smiles as you fall asleep on him, kissing your head as he thanks his lucky stars for bringing you back to him.

Option C: As soon as Leon sees you he drops everything and rushes to you. You're on edge and conflicted, Leon can tell and suggests you both grab coffee. You both sit down and talk about the last few years before he begins hinting at his feelings. As sad as it may be, your life is going good and there isn't much room for distraction, Leon's job is still dangerous and you can't live with the worry. Letting him down easily you tell him how you feel, admitting you still love him but it's not in the cards for you. Leon hides his sadness with nods and fake smiles, he makes up some excuse and says he has to leave, he gives you his number for you both to talk if you want, you take it as he kisses your cheek, wishing you well before leaving you alone.
