Arden had driven everyone to the nearest park Mindy told them to meet. Yards of grass filled the pathway, teens playing soccer with their friends as others simply walked through the calm street of New York.
The group was sitting on the benches as they were getting ready for Mindy to give her speech about what to expect in the upcoming horror movie come to life.
"Okay, Nerds, listen up." Mindy claps to catch everyone's attention before rubbing her fingers through her buzzed curly hair. "Now is my chance to redeem myself for not calling the killers last time."
Starr surprisingly smiled at this, Mindy knew how to make fun of a horrifying situation.
"The way I see it, someone is trying to make a sequel to the requel," Mindy informs.
"What's a requel?" Anika raises her hand.
"You're beautiful sweetie, let's hold the questions to the end." Mindy grins.
Starr felt something in her stomach twist, definitely not what she was used to feeling. What is that?
"So, Stab one took place in Woodsboro, Stab two took place in college." Sam sighs at the irony of the situation.
Tara looks up at Mindy, frowning, "So we think that the killer is trying to copy the movies."
Mindy nods, "It's a possibility." She points to Tara, "The heroes are now in college. Check." She points to Ethan, "Suspicious new character brought in two round out the suspect list and, or body count. Check, Check, and check."
