"Let's do it." Said Aubrey with a small smile.

Hero looked surprised that she said yes. And to be honest, I was surprised too. Usually Aubrey isn't a fan of these types of things.

"Yes!" I exclaimed. "Let's see... Aubrey, Basil, and Hero can sleep on the floor... And I'll sleep on the couch!"

Aubrey rolled her eyes. "I think it makes more sense if Hero sleeps on the couch. He's the oldest one out of all of us."

Hero gave me a "she's-got-a-point" look. I muttered under my breath.

"Fine... Hero can take the couch. But I call middle on the floor!" I said.

Everyone else agreed that it was okay, then we all set up our beds. We spread put blankets on the floor and placed pillows where our heads would lay down at.

"There." Said Basil as he laid down onto his bed. He grabbed the flower from his hair and gently placed it next to his bed so that it wouldn't get ruined in his sleep.

Aubrey sat on her bed and turned on the TV while I flicked off the lights.

Aubrey scrolled through a few channels before settling on a True Crime Story channel. Basil buried his face in his pillow, trying to cover his ears as well. Hero was trying to sleep but it looked like he was having trouble due to the TV.

I cuddled up in my bed, closing my eyes and laying still. I fell asleep immediately.

I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night. I sat up, looking around the room. It was dark, but my eyes quickly adjusted.

Basil slept peacefully next to me, and Hero was still asleep too. But... Why was Aubrey gone?

I then heard a noise from upstairs, it sounded like footsteps. My parents would never be awake at is time, and Hector was still in his bed.

'Is Aubrey upstairs?' I thought. I decided to check it out.

I quietly got out of bed, careful not to wake the others. I tip toed up the stairs, and checked my room. 'She isn't in here. I guess that would be weird if she was...'

I opened the door to the bathroom, and saw Aubrey on the floor. Was she... Crying?

She looked startled when I opened the door, and she tried hiding her face. I walked up to her.

"Aubrey, what happened?" I asked.

Aubrey sniffed. "Pl-please just go away..."

That's when I noticed a knife on the floor. A small amount of blood stained the floor. I looked back at Aubrey.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what happened." I replied.

"Did you not hear me? Leave!" Said Aubrey, she turned her head to look at me. Her eyes were red and tears streamed down her face.
