"Y/N! Get down here; you are going to be late for your first day!" You hear your mother scream from all the way downstairs.
You slowly get out of bed, slip in your uniform, brush your hair, and go downstairs.
"Good morning, mom!" You say it happily while flashing a fake smile at her.
You weren't very happy ever since you had to move from your old school because of your dad's new job. You had a bunch of friends and were also really popular with boys. Everything was perfect until this moment.
"Someone seems to be in a good mood this morning," your mother says, giving you a piece of cheese bread.
You just nod and continue to eat your food.
"Come on, Y/N. I know it's hard, but you need to lighten up! I'm sure you will make new friends, and we are going to a bakery after school, so be happy!" Your mother is trying to comfort you.
You knew it was also hard for your mom because she had to leave a lot of things behind, but it seemed like no one would get you.
"I'm excited to go to the bakery, I guess..." You are continuing to chew your food.
"That's the spirit!" She says she is getting up to continue doing the dishes.
You finish your cheese bread and thank your mom before going to the bathroom to brush your teeth.
"I'm going to the bus stop, mom!" You are closing the door.

You start walking to the bus, stopping your head and looking at your feet before you hear footsteps behind you. You turn around to see a girl with black and orange ends.
"Hello!" The girl says it cheerfully.
"Oh, hello," you say, smiling at her.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you before!" The girl asks.
"Yeah, I just moved here."
"Well, my name is Kamado Nezuko!" She says she is putting her hand toward her.
"My name is Y/N L/N." She says she is shaking her hand.
"Are you nervous for your first day?" The girl asks.
"Yeah, I'm really nervous because I don't really know anyone here." I mean sitting down on the bus stop bench.
"Oh, I see. Well, I can be your first friend here! And my brother can also be your friend!" The girl says it cheerfully.
"Aww, thank you. That would be really nice!" I am relieved that I at least have someone to talk to here.
"No problem! Oh, look, here comes my brother!" The girl says she is turning her head to face the sweating boy. It looked like he had just run miles.

Tanjiro POV:
'Oh god! I'm going to be late'. I mentally slapped myself for forgetting my notebook at home.
Just as I arrived at the bus stop, I saw Nezuko talking with someone unfamiliar.
I tried to get a peek at the girl, and I felt my heart beating like crazy.
Her H/C hair and E/C eyes all matched perfectly.
"Are you okay?" The girl asks me.
'Oh god! I was staring at her, wasn't I?'
O-oh sorry! My name is Kamado Tanjiro!" I say, giving her my hand.
"My name is Y/N L/N!" she says, shaking my hand.
Her hands felt so soft against my skin that I never wanted to let go.
It felt like heaven.
'NO! What are you thinking, Tanjiro?' I thought, 'I can't like her; I just met her two minutes ago!'
"Tanjiro, are you alright?" Nezuko asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine!" I say it nervously.

Nezuko POV
"Are you sure you seem nervous?" I say.
"I- yeah!" He says.
His face looks red, and he's sweating more now.
'Perhaps he's sick?'
"Are you sure you're sweat-?"
Before I could even finish my sentence, the bus came, and he rushed in.
"Tanjiro, wait up!" I said, grabbing Y/N's hand and dragging her onto the bus.
