Jimin pov
I woke abruptly from my slumber because I heard the running sound of yn. My heart pounded in my chest, a mix of concern and curiosity fueling my every nerve. Without wasting a moment, I sprung from my bed and rushed to the window, yearning to catch a glimpse of Yn. But she is nowhere to be seen
"I hope she is fine"
He transforms into his human self and carefully uncovers the letter written by his mother.
Jimin sat on the edge of the bed, holding a letter in his hands. It was a letter from his mother, a message filled with both love and mystery. Jimin's heart fluttered with anticipation as he read the familiar words.
"I know, my dear son, that you will find it sooner or later," his mother had written. "Because I know you are my smart baby." She went on to explain that the password to her diary was challenging, making Jimin even more determined to decipher it.
I am a protector, yet can cause strife,
Unseen by most, shaping your life.
Give me love and I will thrive,
But harm me once, and I may die. What am I?
With the riddle his mother provided, Jimin was eager to crack the code. But first, he needed a pen and paper to note down the clues.
As he rummaged through yn's belongings, his eyes caught sight of a mirror hanging on the wall. He stopped in his tracks, a shock coursing through his veins, as he saw his own reflection staring back at him.
"Is this really me?" Jimin muttered in disbelief. "I must say, I'm sexy, cutie, and lovely." His gaze then fell upon the cat ears perched on his head.
"But these cat ears... they look heavenly beautiful, yet a little eerie for humans." He chuckled, amused by his own appearance."But wait... if this is how I look, then what could have scared Yn that night? I didn't have these cat ears back then. I only obtained them in the morning, that's why I cannot roam in my human form during the morning."
Lost in his thoughts, Jimin soon found himself questioning his feelings for Yn. "Do I truly love her?" he pondered. "Or is it merely a passing attraction? After all, I am a boy. But perhaps Yn is different. Perhaps she won't betray me like Tae..." Jimin shook his head, trying to dispel the dark thoughts. "No, that can't be. Yn is different. I know it." But the lingering doubt remained.
Shaking off his introspection, Jimin grabbed a pen and paper, ready to tackle his mother's riddle. Hours passed as he delved deeper into the puzzle, his determination unwavering. "Why did mom make it so tricky?" he grumbled in frustration, feeling the weight of his mother's challenge pressing upon him.
Jimin read the words again, the rhythm of the rhyme flowing through the room.
"I am a protector, yet can cause strife,
Unseen by most, shaping your life.
Give me love and I will thrive,
But harm me once, and I may die."He furrowed his brow, deep in thought. The answer eluded him, teasing his mind with its hidden meaning. He recited the riddle over and over again, hoping that the answer would reveal itself.
As he mulled over the words, an epiphany struck him. "Ah," he exclaimed softly, a spark of excitement igniting within him. "I've got it! The answer to the riddle is..."
But before he could utter his thoughts, another sound pierced through the air. The soft jingling of a necklace falling to the floor interrupted his revelation. Startled, he turned his attention towards the noise, momentarily forgetting about the riddle.
Suddenly, the door swung open, and Yn's voice carried through the room. "Mochi, where are you?" she called out, her voice tinged with worry and affection.
Jimin swiftly reverted back to his cat form, scurrying out of sight just in time. Yn entered the room, her eyes scanning the space until they landed on the furry figure hiding behind the furniture.
Relief swept across her face as she reached out to him, embracing him tightly. "Mochi, I missed you so much today," she cooed, peppering his furry cheeks with soft kisses. Jimin blushed at the affectionate gesture, his heart fluttering at Yn's love.
Gently lifting him up, Yn cradled him in her arms, carrying him to the bed. She lay down on the bed, her body weary from the day's tribulations.
"Today has been the worst day," she confessed, her voice heavy with exhaustion as she laid down on the bed, still holding Mochi close to her.
Jimin observed her, his thoughts temporarily consumed by the warmth of Yn's presence.
In the depths of Yn's mind, a conflict raged. "What should I do?" she wondered. "Should I bring Mochi to him for one last time? Or would that be a bad decision, considering the harm he has caused?"
An idea took hold, fueling her determination. Rising from the bed with newfound resolve, she prepared herself to take action.
