"Hyunjin! Come taste the batter and let me know what you think" Felix called out, making Hyunjin eagerly jump up from the couch and accept the small spoonful Felix offered him.

His eyes lit up and he tried to hold back a smile, "wow this is great! you're good at baking" Hyunjin praised, wandering around the kitchen aimlessly as he observed the mess that had accumulated.

Felix shrugged, smiling.

"Do you want me to start cleaning these dishes?" Hyunjin offered, picking up a couple small bowls. Felix glanced over his shoulder, noticing what Hyunjin was talking about and shaking his head.

"It's alright! I'll do them, you keep watching the show."

"Let me help-" Hyunjin argued, a slight whine to his voice.

"Fine You can if you really want to." Felix chuckled, pouring the chocolate batter into a tin. Hyunjin nodded, gathering the dirty dishes and gently placing them in the sink as he began to run some hot, soapy water over them.

The pair stood back to back, Felix focusing on pouring the batter and Hyunjin watching the sink fill up. As Felix reached the end of the bowl, he tried to pick up a spoon to scrape out the excess, but his hand shook from the weight and he nearly dropped the big glass bowl.

He turned to look at Hyunjin who had his hands on his back, standing a bit like a pregnant woman.

"Yah, Hyunjin! Can you hold this bowl for me for a second?" Felix asked, watching as the elder male flicked the tap off and sidestepped towards him.

He nodded, grabbing the bowl and tilting it as Felix scraped out the last little bit. Hyunjin grinned, taking the liberty of licking the spoon.

Felix tsked, eyeing the elder. But they both burst into laughter, Hyunjin clapping as he did so. Felix calmed down, placing the tin in the preheated oven with a smile on his face.

Hyunjin returned to cleaning, Felix joining him.

They stood side by side in a comfortable silence, Hyunjin washing the dishes and Felix drying them. They didn't have enough to stack the dishwasher so they chose to hand wash them.

Hyunjin rinsed the soap off of the big glass bowl, handing it to Felix, who dried it carefully. "All done! I'll just wipe the bench." Hyunjin proposed, grabbing a dish cloth and wiping down the dirty island counter.

Felix chuckled, placing the big bowl away and checking the timer on the brownies. They would be ready in about ten minutes, which was enough to sit down for a bit.

He plopped down on the couch, feeling rather tired now that he had sat down. Hyunjin sat down beside him, stretching his arm out on the couch behind Felix and scrolling on his phone for a bit.

Felix sighed, pulling his own phone out of his pocket to see Chan had unblocked him.

Hey Lix, sorry about everything. I just got upset that you were with someone else and I took it the wrong way. I understand that you are at your own free-will and you can go out with whoever you want to, but it just hurts. Do you want to meet tonight and just talk about it?

It's alright Hyung, we can meet. I understand the way you feel and it's okay. I'll meet you outside my dorm, let me know when you're here. I don't really know the way around yet so that's the best I can do.

Felix was so distracted by messaging the elder he hadn't noticed the timer had gone off in the kitchen and Hyunjin was already up to take the brownies out of the oven.
