The New Beginning

I straighten out my light blue satin dress. As I look at myself in the body length mirror, I can't help but smile. Well, what else can I expect on a date with the one and only Captain Killian Hook?
I make sure my whole outfit is perfect before grabbing my keys and heading out the door. I don't even bother grabbing my phone. If any tragedy ends up happening (which it most likely won't), Killian and I won't be far from the house. But what if another ice monster comes after us? What if- I stop myself.
Tonight is our night, not fear's. And besides I'm Emma Swan.
I can handle anything that comes my way.
Right?
When I arrive at the restaurant, I gasp. Wow!
Damnit! I knew I should've planned this date because I hate fancy places. They just didn't seem to like me. I only went before because I went to catch people on my bail-bonds person job.
Honestly, I was not expecting anything this fancy from Killian.
Speaking of the devil, I spot him over at the center table. He nearly knocks the table over when he saw me and I smirk at his easiness. Oh, the things I could get him to do for me.
I realize he must be mesmerized by my dress.
It was a baby blue satin knee- length dress. It had a golden sash at the center that wrapped around my waist. Let's just say it was the most beautiful dress you've ever seen. My golden heels that matched the sash were high, but not supermodel high and my hair was pinned back into a half-up French braid. I probably looked like a well-paid supermodel and by the looks of every single man (and the devious one's of their date's) in the restaurant, I was right.
After giving the men a dirty glare, Killian comes over to me and smiles politely at me.
"Hello, love", he smiled.
"Hello, Killian", I smirk at his sudden politeness. He kisses my hand and I could feel my cheeks going as hot as fire. He guides me to our table and pulled out the chair for me.
"Thanks", I mumbled. I was very confused at him right now.
"Shall I order us some drinks?", he smirks. I nod and he motions for the waitress to come over. "We'd like to order some drinks", he asks. She nods and looks at me. "A wine is good", I tell her. "And you, sir?", she looks at Killian. "I'll just have a water", he says in a sophisticated tone. I just stare at him with my mouth gaping open.
WHAT THE HELL WAS UP WITH HIM??!!! The waitress scribbles the orders down and almost runs into a wall because she was staring intently at my Killian. I glared at her so hard that I thought I burned her. She looked at me and took the hint.
Killian must have noticed my surprised expression because he grabs my hands and said, "Don't worry, Swan, I'm not sick or anything. I just don't want to get drunk tonight.", he says quickly. "The words I never thought would come out of your mouth", I teased. "Ha ha", he says sarcastically.
The night went by so fast because we were having so much fun. I even forgot how odd Killian was acting! Most of the time, people were giving us dirty looks, but I didn't care because Killian was with me.
After dinner, Killian takes me for a walk on the beach. It was unbelievably gorgeous. The words were just not even invented yet! I couldn't look away. We walked for quite a while and suddenly Killian stopped abruptly. "What's wrong?," I asked quickly. He just shook his head.
"Emma... I love you so much and I don't know how I'm supposed to live the rest of my life without you, so I don't want to wait any longer. You're beautiful, funny, brave, strong, the Savior, and so many more things. I want to spend the rest of my life with the woman who changed my life for the better and chased away the evil in me. I can never make it up to you, but this will be the closest thing. I might be good at surviving, but not without you.", Killian said as he looked up at me with so much love in his eyes.
He got down on one knee and I just couldn't hold back the tears anymore. They came streaming down my eyes and for the first time, they were tears of happiness.
"Emma Swan, will you marry me?", he asked as he looked with his emerald eyes into mine with a soft smile.
"Of course I will, you pirate!", I said with a grin that stretched across my face. Killian's eyes lit up and his grin became wider than I ever saw.
"I love you so much", I said softly. He took my head in his hands and kissed me. I was so happy because he was all mine and I knew it would be alright as long as he was with me.
