Like I said in the description, someone who also deserves a lot of credit for this book is Mira2Faith as I could not have done or come up with this story without her. I highly suggest going and checking out her books as well. We both used OCs of our own, one of mine you may recognize :). Hope you enjoy it!

Warning: There will be some romantic topics but nothing more than some French kissing and a lot of snuggling, but that only comes later. You have been warned.

Valena's pov

I was riding out into the darkness of the night. I lived on my own. As I was 24 years old. I was an incredibly smart inventor, though from time to time, I taught as a teacher in Jasper Nevada. I wasn't that famous, but I have been good at hacking, inventing phones and gadgets the world tends to like these days.

I have 3 vehicles that I love, one more than most, but don't ride everywhere.

Currently, though, I was riding my bike in the cold, dark night. Rain poured onto my helmet and onto my vest. Tears ran down my face, though I didn't even care. My boyfriend had dumped me. He lied to me and decided to destroy a project I had been working on for years, a private project that was meant just for me. He had destroyed it and, in turn, cost me bucketloads of money.

I was alone on a road in the middle of nowhere. My fury was flushed into the ride, the rain helping to cool me off in my pain and grief. I was better off alone. No one to steal your joys and destroy your heart. I had no real friends and lived in a small enough town with no paparazzi. My heart hurt as I rode on.

At this point, the rain was coming down so hard that I could no longer tell what was tears and what was water. It all blurred into my eyes, darkening the already dim road in front of me and the echoes of thunder booming off in the distance. Barely any streetlights lit this freeway, so I was mostly just riding blind. In some way, it offered relief to be so deprived like this.

I continued to ride through the rain until I heard the sounds of fighting. Getting curious, I could hear the sounds of booming punches of metal and weight thrown around, finding myself coming across a ravine where even in the dark, I could pick up robotic beings fighting. Turning the night vision sensors on, I could see two robots fighting against a single bot on their own. I didn't know what was going on, but I turned my bike off to keep silent. Seeing a tall and skinny robot fighting against two large robots much bigger than it. Seeing the fight end, I was startled when there was blue glowing liquid I could see and a large portal opened near them, the one bot escaped while the other two took off. Curious, I got off my bike and walked out to the blue liquid. Glowing bright as I removed a glove and dared to stick my hand in it. Feeling a shocking burn, crying out. Till the pain disappeared, I looked again to see the blue liquid was gone, and I decided to head back home. Thinking in my ride, maybe I was hallucinating and needed to head home.

The next day, preparing to go and teach, I saw a glowing blue scar on my hand. It was no specific shape, but it concerned me, so I grabbed my makeup and covered my hand up to disguise what I was seeing till my hand looked normal. Deciding to go ahead and head to work to teach.

I worked at one of the local high schools here. It wasn't anything big or fancy, but the kids here were nice. At least most of them, if not all. There were still a few bullies here and there. I took my usual route and drove to the school, parking out front in the parking lot, which was empty except for a few cars and a motorcycle. I got out and walked to the school, continuing on my way until I reached my room. It was a fairly decent size for me, and at this time of the morning, only a few desks were occupied. In the one closest to me sat a boy with pitch-black hair. He went by the name of Jack Darby and usually kept to himself. I wasn't sure he had many friends, only seeing him hanging out with a few kids in the grades below him.

"Morning, Darby. How are you doing?" I asked as I set my stuff down on the desk. "Here early today, I see." I set up the classroom as I looked at the boy.

"Do you not have many friends to chat with in the mornings?" I asked. "I didn't take ya for one who studied a lot in your free time." Just as the first warning bell rang.

"I do have my friends Raf and Miko." He said as more kids started coming in. "They're younger, but I don't really mind. They're both really nice. And for my free time, I like building bikes and stuff."

"Well, maybe I should show ya my bike sometime. I do a lot of night riding. I also have two custom-designed cars, one a sports car and the other a muscle car. Maybe I should take ya for a spin sometime. Have you ever been to the street races here in town?" I asked. "You should go to watch sometime."

"I think I'd quite like that." He grinned, "Though I do admit, I have taken my motorcycle to a few of those in the past. It's the one parked out front."

"Nice taste," I replied, remembering the bike. I walked over to him, so the other kids coming in couldn't hear me. "Why not after school you join me out in the sticks for a small race of our own? It would give you an opportunity since most places don't allow races. Invite your friends too if ya want. They can judge who wins." Hearing the second warning bell ring, kids started to rush in like waves. "I should get the lesson ready, just think about it."

"Sure thing." He smiled, making it clear he was already leaning towards yes on my offer. I smiled to myself and went back over to my desk, quickly taking register as the teens all started settling down. I then took out a textbook and started writing on the board.

3rd person pov

Meanwhile, far away and high above the clouds, a solitary colossal ship slowly made its way around the earth. In its halls, it was silent, except for the sound of running as a young Decepticon ran down them, followed by two animals. Radiowave made her way to the communications room where she was already supposed to be but had lost track of time while building in the ship's workshop.

Knockout accidentally ran into her, quick to catch her to prevent her from falling. "Sorry, Wavey," Knockout mumbled. "On your way to see Sounds?"

"Yup," She said, quickly straightening up and brushing herself off, "Today's coding lessons for me, and I'm already late."
"Have fun," Knockout mumbled. Quick to get out of her way.

"Thanks!" She said, running off again. She quickly took a few more turns before arriving at the room and sliding to a stop right after entering the doors, "I am here!" She called as she looked around.

The slender bot turned to look at his daughter as she arrived late like she did most of the time. He also didn't need to speak to let her know how he felt about it, making her look down slightly, mumbling an apology. He pointed to the computer next to his so he could start showing her what to do. She gave a small smile and hurried over to it. The bird by her rested on the table, and the wolf lay down by her feet as she started working

Megatron's voice echoed from the halls."Soundwave!!!" Immediately, he straightened up and turned to attention, waiting for orders or commands from his leader. Megatron rushed into the room and immediately spotted Soundwave. "We have an energon signal on the move being detected. I would send Knockout out, but not after he and Breakdown lost Arcee last night. I want you to figure out where the signal is coming from."

The silent mech nodded, motioning to Radiowave to stay before opening a groundbridge to the location and going through. He had no idea what he was going to encounter, but he was ready for anything. Or so he thought.
