Valena gasped as she looked up at the deception. She backed away from him, scared. Taking steps back in worry as she looked at the large deception. She felt her gut hurt. It reminded her of her parents. She tried to be good so many times, and yet no matter what, she still paid a negative price. She knew she couldn't outrun the con, not there. She merely looked down away from him to hide her pain and tears.

She heard the girl still sobbing, "I'm sorry," repeatedly from behind Soundwave's foot. He kneeled down and gently rubbed her head before she shimmered and disappeared. He then straightened up and made straight for her, lunging to grab her.

Wiping her tears away from her face, she lifted her chin up at Soundwave, looking up at him as her eyes were filled with much inner pain. She didn't even run. She just stood there waiting for him to grab or hurt her. She wasn't scared of death. At least in death, no one can hurt you.

He hesitated a bit, his hand inches away from her body as he looked down at her. His screen remained blank, but he quickly regained his posture and picked her up gently before transforming and flying away, out the canyon and over the freeway where Optimus was still parked.

Optimus immediately transformed as he recognized Soundwave, aiming a cannon and firing at him. "Soundwave!" The con was gone as he looked in the direction that Valena went.

Valena sat there, wordless as she looked out the windows. Her mind tormented her as many painful memories filled her mind.

Her fake boyfriend having dumped her just to cause her pain and suffering, and now here she was trying to give her life meaning again, but the meaning was gone. Was that what her life was going to mean, never-ending suffering? She tried to be strong, keeping her chin up, but no matter what, she couldn't stop trembling at her inner pain. She just hoped the cons would kill her rather than use her. Money had no meaning, and her inventions, as life-like as they seemed, were still things she made. She was ever still lonely.

Soundwave flew on for a while, passing over numerous different landscapes for what seemed like hours. His alt mode wasn't really designed for humans, so the flight was a bit uncomfortable. He played music about halfway there, but whether it was for her or him was unclear.

Finally, a massive dark ship appeared, and he flew straight for it.

"Wow," Valena muttered, unable to stop herself, as she saw the ship. It looked vast, like a three-floor building floating in the air. Then she shook her head, looking down at her hands. She noticed the music he played, but it just hurt even more. She wiped a single stray tear as they got closer.

The bottom half of the ship opened up, so what looked like a ramp poked out. On either corner stood two identical purple and silver mechs, waiting for Soundwave who flew in and transformed, holding her in his hand as he straightened up and the cons closed the door behind them.

Megatron walked into view. "Soundwave, you found the source of the energon? I'm guessing this is one of the Autobots' pets."

Valena looked at the large con in front of her and felt a bit of panic run through her. She had seen that con in her dreams. When she was a little girl. Why was this life treating her in such a way? She merely looked down at the fingers in front of her.

"Human, what is your name?" Megatron demanded.

"Valena, sir, but my name won't mean anything to you anyways now, will it? You want me for something else.".

"Ah, a smart human," Megatron smirked.

Soundwave looked up at his leader and asked him something, playing through recordings of different voices, "Take...her...to...Knockout?" They asked while he remained silent. The purple mechs around them seemed curious, trying to catch a glimpse of her.
