Eternity Chapter 20

Amanda's POV

I waited until Kat was watching TV with the baby to get ready. I grabbed my jacket and my red knot scarf and headed out the door. I ran all the way to the park I was in excellent shape for a supposedly dead person. I got there and found everyone fighting but we were winning or losing but that was about to change. I found Drake easily he was in the center looking incredibly confused. It must make him feel pretty dumb not to have seen this coming. See today everyone learned how to fight and how to clear their mind for some it was easy ( cough cough Bane) so Destiny couldn't see what was coming. I walked through the groups and soon I was in front of him. He looked around for help and that's when he saw me.

" You're dead", he said shocked. " Am I shoot I knew I forgot something", I said. " You're aren't supposed to be here", he said looking around for an explanation. " Forget something", I said pulling his gem out of my right pocket and dangling it in front of him.

Everyone froze like they do in the blockbusters. " You have no idea what that is", he said cautiously. " Your power, your energy source the one thing that sets you apart from humans take your pick", I said walking closer.

" You may think you've got this thing figured out but you're just going to die again if you don't hand that over", he said pretending to be casual. " My hand are so slippery today", I said almost dropping the gem. " Hand it over", he said with a growl. " Nice try but you're not the werewolf I am Bane it right all along you're just a girly boy with a little necklace", I mocked. " You think this makes a difference I can kill you in a second", he said with a fake laugh.

" And I can break this before you can twitch", I said walking closer. " Now I understand why they call you Red I always thought it might be the hair or the sparkly personality but no I know it's because you like it don't you", he laughed. " Like what?", I said eyes narrowing. " Death, destruction, dying", he said coming closer. " You have no idea what you're talking about", I said angrily. " Hand over the gem and I'll take it back either way your species are killers you know I know", he said appearing in front of me. " I'm no killer", I said. " Whoever said you'd be doing the hurting", he said then swung at me. " I did", I said grabbing his arm and swinging him around. " You're going to die bitch", he said throwing a rock at me. " Maybe someday", I said knocking him down, " but it'll never be you". He swung and I reached my necklace hand out and his fist smashed into the gem with just enough power. I felt the glass sliced into my hand and I felt him fall back as all the power was released.

" You can't it's not you", he said getting to his feet. " Yeah me", I said getting to my feet. " You're nothing just a girl I can't be beaten by a girl", he said terrified. " How does it feeling to be human again", I said with a smile. " I can still kill you", he said getting up to his feet. He swung his knife at me and I ducked matrix style and kicked it back into a tree. " You just don't get it", I said punched him in the nose.

" Get what", he said trying to kick my legs but I jumped up kicked him in the stomach and landed on my feet. " You lost", I said as if it was obvious. " I can't lose do you know who I am", he said getting to his feet. " You're a human jerk", I said pushing him backwards, " you're filth". " I'm Drake White the strongest most powerful sorcerer in the world", he announced.

" Wrong you were the most powerful sorcerer now you know what you are", I said closing in on him. " What", he snapped. " Ordinary", I said coolly.

" I'm Drake White I will never be ordinary", he said furiously. " You should thought of that before you messed with my family", I said pushing him down to the ground. He kicked my legs from under me and I landed in a crouch both of us holding knives. " I can mess with whatever I want I have it all", he said loudly. " You had it all now you're gutter trash", I said nastily.

" You are going to burn in hell", he said getting to his feet. " Save me a seat", I said standing up straight. " Come now your family is basically dead your sister is next and you'll be a big happy family again", he said. " There's just one problem", I said taking a step forward. " What's that", he asked in disbelief. " You can't scare me anymore", I said with a small smile.

" I can scare anyone I'm the powerful man on this earth", he thundered.

" There's that word again power", I said taking another step forward.

" What about it", he said confused.

" That's what it all comes down to isn't it", I said continuing forward. " You don't even matter", he said but took a step back. " Maybe not but unlike you I have it", I said stepping one last time so I was right in front of him. " No you don't you're just a mutt", he said trying to hit me. I grabbed his arm and twisted him back and held his arm behind his back. " I have the power here", I said calmly. " You're going to die", he said angrily. " You're right someday I'll die of old age but you know what so are you", I whispered, " so my suggestion get your head out of your ass and get out of my town before I end it". I threw him into the mud as it poured down. " Everyone listen here this is my town and I'm back to stay", I said looking around. " Anyone who wants to fight me just go ahead and try if not get the fuck out of my town for good", I called. Gradually everyone walked away. No one threatened me even Drake and his sister left quietly heads down with shame. It was over we'd done it. " We did it we won", Danny said as we gathered together.

" We did it", I cheered and everyone screamed and cheered too completely relieved. Tonight wasn't anything special to anyone else just your typical Friday but I would remember tonight until the day I died and by that I mean die for good. We walked back to the cars adamantly talking about our successes. " I bet the idiot is still trying to get the mud out of his hair", Miranda said as we walked. " Hey there cutie", a familiar voice said. " Hi Ian", I said then slammed his head into the side of my truck and threw him aside. We left him by the gate with a cup and sign this was his new life.

" Let's go home I'm freezing my ass off", Miranda said. " Agreed", I said getting into the driver's seat and starting my Mercedes.

" Hey Red want a little fun join us losers", Roan called. " You've got yourself a deal", I said passing Bane my keys. I hopped into the back of the truck and we sang the whole way home. " If ever there was another summer", Danny sang. " I would send it with you", Blondie sang.

" If ever I could open my heart", Roan sang. " All my dreams would come true", I sang. " Because every night I toss and turn", Ralph sang. " Every morning feels the same", Danny sang sadly. " If only you could see what I see", I sang. " YOU'RE A MIRACLE TO ME OH YEAH IT'S ALL THAT YOU ARE AND ALL THAT I'LL EVER WANT", we sang. " Change comes and change goes and don't I'm here to show you", Victor and Davy sang. " I'm ready blow your mind and light the fire inside", Danny and Blondie sang. " Come on baby and sing along because I KNOW WHERE YOUR HEART BELONGS", Ralph, Roan and I sang. " So don't go out tonight with a sizzle", Blondie sang. " Go out with a BANG", I sang. " Because when you show up at the club tonight I can't help but feel like", Davy sang. " Like telling you you're my favorite song", Roan sang. " And if I could say the punch line", Ralph said. " It would be only for you and only tonight let's see the world spin around one more time", I sang cheerfully. " Spin it around and feel my heartbeat rolling down the bumpy road before us", Victor sang.

" Spin it around and I know there's for it but to do it", Ralph sang. " Spin it spin it around and around and make my day come baby just let out what do you have to say", we girls sang.

" You're my favorite song and I'm telling her and I'm telling you now that no matter what happens next", the boys sang. " What comes next is gone and I know where I belong", I sang.

" AND RIGHT HERE AND NOW PEOPLE COME AND PEOPLE GO BUT I JUST WANT TO SAY", they all sang. " You're the only miracle to me", I sang then everyone cheered and we high fived. It was just like old times and right here I felt like me again. It was like the first time going home I had no idea what to expect!
