Eternity Chapter 21

Amanda's POV

As soon as we got home the packs were waiting by their cars everyone waited to go home. " Thank you for your help", I said shaking each of their hands one by one. " Keep in touch", Nick said giving me a half hug, " and don't die again okay". " I won't, have a nice life guys and oh whatever", I said rolling eyes then walking away. I went inside and started to clean up the maps and stuff in the living room but my hand was hurting like a som of a bitch.

" Amanda can we talk now?", Damien asked. " Sure ow", I said accidentally pushing the glass in deeper. " Come on I've got an emergency kit in my office", he said after checking my hand. I followed him upstairs and into his office. " Are you okay", he asked grabbing the kit. " My hand hurts like hell other than that I'm fine",

I shrugged. " Amanda can I ask you a question", he asked as he pulled out the glass and dropped it into the bowl.

" You want to know why I didn't tell you I was here", I guessed. He nodded so I continued, " I didn't want to get caught and it was just easier". " That's two reasons but where's the real one", he said seriously. " That is the reason", I said not looking him in the eye.

" That's a lie Amanda please just tell me the truth", he said annoyed. He pulled out the last piece of glass a little too hard but I bit my tongue. " I told you I had to figure everything out before I showed up", I said a little too quickly. " Amanda", he said getting angry. " God let it go", I said getting up. " No", he said angrily. " What does it matter now it's over", I reminded him.

" It matters because you're lying to me again keeping secrets", he explained.

" I can't tell you everything", I argued.

" Not everything but whatever it is it's important", he said exasperated. " It's nothing okay just me dealing with my problems", I insisted. " Amanda just let me in for once", he said hurt. " Damien you can't protect me from myself", I said looking at the floor, " there's just too much going on". " There's always something going on all I wanted to know is why you never came home", he persisted. " I was scared okay", I finally said.

" Of me", he said dismissively. " No I don't care about that it's in the past", I said shaking my head. " Then what are you afraid of", he asked perplexed.

" Me", I said honestly, " I'm terrified of what I am and I'm afraid of losing control". I sat down and rubbed my temples. " You're worried about what Drake said", he guessed. " I was", I said I said pulling out the ring, " but I know now". " Know what?", he asked. " That I'm not alone", I said looking him in the eye. " Where does this leave us", he asked uncertainly. " I'll give you a hint", I said kissing him on the lips slipping on my ring. He kissed me back and picked me up. We went to the bedroom and came out a few hours later. " I love you", he said kissing me one more time. " Love you too", I said then headed downstairs. I went to Kat's room and explained my actions. " So you agree that your actions were harsh and ridiculous", she said sitting down cross legged on the bed. " Yes Miss. Katerina", I said quickly. " Now go make me brownies", she commanded.

" Yes ma'am", I said then went to the kitchen. I collected the ingredients and supplies. " Brownie apologies", Roan said as the pack walked in. " Some people are so difficult to please", I sighed.

" You look adorable in a apron Red", Danny said cheerfully. " Oh yeah", I said then flicked brownie batter at her.

" Oh yeah take this", she said throwing a banana at me. " Holy fuck that was like a Chinese boomerang banana", I said then hit a head of lettuce with my rolling bin. See Kat liked brownie cooked they were actually pretty tasty. We had a full fledged food fight then listened and danced around to music as made the brownies. We were dancing around to Man! Feel Like A Woman when the timer went off and we all cheered.
